  1. Ok cool, I've also emailed C&R and a place called Rally Design. Will update when I get an update :) If anyone else can think of a place who might wanna do a GB lemme know
  2. These are possibly the most sexiest wheels I have seen on a 'rado. :luvlove: :luvlove:
  3. Just found this pic from back in the Summer - bye bye black Speedies!! :salute: DSC03967.JPG[/attachment:16qcequv]
  4. Thanks for positive comments!! Stay tuned :D
  5. Lol!! That'll be ur problem then!!
  6. Group Buy Feeler page: http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=100208 TBH VF rear engine mounts are a lot pricier than the VT's. I've had a look at both mentioned sites and I guess u've seen on Regal they only supply VF's, and I can't see any on Tuning Werkes
  7. UPDATE 12/1/11 2pm Ok, had a reply from VT - the discounted prices on the Road series mounts delivered is £134.92. The price delivered from C&R without any discount is £136.38. I've had a reply from C&R quoting a price delivered to ONE address for all the mounts listed below, which comes to £1550. Of course then I have to post each persons mounts individually. It works out at about 7% off I think. If I'm honest with u guys, I can't be arsed with the hassle or sorting it out and individually posting them out for a saving of £7. I'd rather buy mine seperately and get it sooner. If anyone else however thinks they want to carry this on, then by all means I can give u any details u need. I've emailed C&R back saying I don't think it's worth it and will see what they say. Sorry about this guys :( UPDATE 11/1/11 9.00am Have had a couple of email exchanges between VT, and it does seem their prices excude VAT which is a bugger! I'm yet to pass on numbers to C&R (Prices £128 inc VAT) and hear a response from JBS (£134 inc VAT) I've emailed a couple of companies about a GB for VT mounts. I've had a couple of responses and they would like numbers and which mounts people would want to buy. I've emailed back saying I will get back to them once people here have decided what mounts they want to go for, so please let me know. Vibra-Technics have emailed back saying they will give us 15%, but hasn't asked for a specific number of orders. I've asked him what P&P will be too. There is a list at the bottom of relevant part no's that I have gathered, and a desciption of the type of mount. I am not responsible for ordering you the correct part if this goes ahead, so please look at the part numbers and make sure for yourself that u give me the correct part number by doing a little research. If u own a VR6 then this seems simple enough. WHAT TO DO: Either PM me or reply on this thread, with the part no's that u would be interested in buying (look at the list and see what I've done for myself) and I will edit the list accordingly. 8. Maybe worth trying to set up a GB? EDIT: I've emailed them asking whether it's something they'd like to do...
  9. Let me know if u find em cheap bud, I'm after a set!!
  10. Was that the mk2 Golf diesel mount? I have a weird chirping noise that I suspect may be mounts, mine comes from the driver's side though when pulling away
  11. When I was gonna buy my 'rado, I was gonna get a valver and checked all insurance quotes etc. Then I thought, I wonder (for a laugh) how much it'd be to get insured on a VR. I did some quotes, and the best I got was only around £80 more than a valver quote!! So u can imagine what flavour of Corrado I went for ;)
  12. Thanks guys! Definately gettin' them done now!! My next question is: Do I treat ALL of the rims to new rubber, or use 2 Falken's that I have on the existing rears with a good 4-5mm tread left on them....hmmm
  13. I was under the impression that mk3 drivers came in 1.8 petrols only... That motor doesn't have the red stripe that they had on the bumpers either...
  14. This is the only rim I have had done, wanted to get a pic or 2 of it on the motor and see other's opinions before going ahead with re-furbing all 4!
  15. Ok took a couple of pix earlier today but the sun was quite bright so I don't think these photo's do the wheel and car colour justice!! (plus the 'rado is filthy which probably doesn't help!! ) Here's the best ones... climatronic wiring-Golf from May 01.pdfDSC00242.JPG[/attachment:r5xs0rxv] 2.8l 24v Climatronic system.pdfDSC00244.JPG[/attachment:r5xs0rxv] DSC00245.JPG[/attachment:r5xs0rxv] Thoughts?
  16. I watched it for a 2nd time t'other day, not sure if I liked it more this time or before!! Definately worth recommend watching it a 2nd time, as u pick up on more detail!
  17. Chill out man!! I saw Green Zone t'other night - 7/10
  18. Thanks dude! :salute: I've still got 'em, not sure what to do with 'em tbh. I had to space the fronts out by 13mm due to the 288mm calipers, but didn't have enough clearance to space the rears out the same distance at the ride height so it looked a little odd. Had em on for a couple of months and really like them, just not sure I wanna raise the car up and space them out properly
  19. Haha yes I've put off trying the new rim on the car due to not having my jack at the house/snow/getting p1ssed etc etc, but made a decision yesterday to finally get it on over this wknd and take some pix - coz I've got brand new rubber just sitting around waiting to either go on the new gold ones or the blacks!! Conker, sorry mate have only just read ur post! Lepson's did a wicked job mate, I really should've taken before and after photo's of the worst rim! I will remember to take some if the others go in for re-furb! The price on a standard paint colour is 47+VAT per corner, and 53+VAT per corner if they're stripping old tyres or putting new ones on!
  20. I was trying to arrange a viewing and get more pix/details off this guy before I ended up buying a different Corrado from somewhere else - it took so many phone calls and a long time to actually get anything out of him, so I decided to go elsewhere in the end, getting a lower mileage, black leather recaros, and cheaper than the price he was selling the original one! I was asking for details for well over a month, and wanted to make sure I had a viewing 1st as it had a very low mileage and would probably get snapped up! I wouldn't go to him purely on his really bad sales skills, I thought he was pretty rude especially to a 95% potential buyer
