  1. Is this overkill for what he needs Abdul? If not Jake and u want it, u can have it for 40 notes mate I don't use it.
  2. That is one shiny rado!! Welcome aboard Jake!! When's the 1st set of mods happening, and when're we having this meet??
  3. Lol how come no-one picked up on this one!? Bloody hell, that puts some 'orrible images into ur head mind :gag:
  4. Want more cushion for the pushin'? Seriously tho, I do like that Alfa. I prefer the retro looks of my Corrado anyday over it though
  5. The 3rd screw is located down a hole in the slam panel, below the the top 2, in the middle of the headlight. Shine a torch down there and u'll see him! Drilling out the 3rd one will be an arse mate, I don't envy u if u have to do them. The top 2, if as u say the slots have rounded then there'll be no need for a centre drill, just drill down through the top of the screw head with a pilot drill (obv needs to be smaller diameter than the core diameter of the screw otherwise u'll drill into the fixings)
  6. Mmm that middle one took me about 3hrs to sort out 1st time I got to it. N/S was fine, O/S wasn't. After trying various tools I'd made in the machine shop (extended bars and all sorts!!) and various techniques, I eventually got some long nose pliers and attacked the little black insert that sits in the bodywork/slam panel that the screw screws into. As said, literally takes 2minutes to take each headlight out now
  7. I did mine yesterday mate, and had the headlights out anyway. The O/S bulb holder was really tight getting it to prise off, if I hadn't had the actual headlight in my hand to be able to see what I was doing, there's no way I would've got it out without breaking something!! Now that I've done it however, it should be easy to do with it on the car next time. Best best is to get them screws out mate, and replace with stainless for easy operation next time :)
  8. I'll take the Fifth Amendment on that one.... ;) anyway, I buy enough of their books. Didn't know about the game, I hope they don't make it just another shooter. I was really excited when they announced Blood Bowl for Xbox, but apparently they messed it up so I didn't buy it. We used to get an american football and play it on the vicar's lawn after church when I was lad. Well, when I say play, it was more an excuse for a ruckus.[/quote:17tzzyyh] Lol, understood! I'm currently reading the Blood Angels omnibus (Blood Angels FTW) Watched Toy Story earlier - 6/10, don't really think it lived up to all the hype!!
  9. Finally got round to putting on my DG Autotech headlight loom on earlier today, as well as some Phillips X-treme Power bulbs! About to go into Bath for a steak meal so will update on newfound 'seeing in the dark' capabilities!! :D
  10. As above, after a bonnet stay in good nick! (or a sturdy, unbent one that can be painted) Thanks! :)
  11. that & the fact that Gareth Cheeseman did NOT have one. And the fact they're actually nice to look at?
  12. Because it's 15yrs old+ is part of the reason though!! Retro/classic cars do hold/appreciate in value! Obviously there are bangers out there and nicer ones though..
  13. Jake only accepts beers and/or steak...
  14. Did u purchase it from the site, then? I'm looking forward to the game coming out on Xbox :D
  15. My thought process was this though: The rainsport's are much better at wet grip and aqua planing etc, so would they benefit more from being at the front, rather than the back? The T1-R's are brand new as well btw
  16. No worries dude, shame really. Nice one mate, mk2 diesel? Got the part no.?
  17. I completely agree, albeit myself being one of these people. Although I do show concern, I just don't do anything about it :?
  18. V-Dubstar

    VW Badge idea?

I've toyed with the idea of painting my dull chromed one black, but the inside edges red to give it a kinda 3d effect. Dunno if it'd work well or not tho
  19. Hiya mate  I think Baz is talking about the edition38 meet that is a monthly thing (I think) down by Krispy Kreme's. It's a general VW thang though, but I'd have thought there'd be a couple of 'rados hanging around. One of the members here is making a new purchase soon and wants to have a meet (he's Gloucester based) so keep an eye out for an events page around this area - I'll try and remember to link u to it if and when this happens! :thumbleft: (this will be a Corrado based meet) Welcome, it sounds like you're really enthusiastic about your car but just lacking in some knowledge, which is fine mate as I'm in the same boat!! This forum has helped me learn things about my car over time though, and is a real genuine collection of nice people and knowledge
  20. I've got some T1-R's and I'm probably gonna buy some Rainsport 2's in 195/50/15. Would it be more wise to have the Rainsport's on the front and the Toyo's on the rear?
