Nope. No wheels are too modern, new, old, good or bad. It's all about how you wear 'em IMO.
-
Derp, at first glance I thought it was Cazza selling em!!
-
I purchased the tank, lid and loom clip thingy.

Can I pay on pay day? (Tuesday).

Cheers Rob!

I've done this today. Not sure if I got the right tank (I used the part number of the first page) but it didn't fit to the existing bracket. I had to shave a small locating lug off the bottom of the tank and turn it 90 degrees clockwise. This was for 2 reasons - The wiring for the level sensor wasn't long enough and the 'T' piece wasn't in the right place. The only problems I foresee are that I have secured it with only one screw and the 'min / max' marks are round the back so not as easy to see as they should be (I can still see them from the correct angle). How did everyone else get these to fit? I'll take a photo when I'm next at the car. EDIT - Just read the whole thread rather than the first post. Wish I had read it all before now! At least I can go back and fix my errors. Just need to work out how to extend the wiring on the sensor plug.

Ooh I had a VFR400 as well. Such a great little bike! I'd have another if they weren't so damned expensive to maintain. To be honest, they're a bit like Corrados in that regard!

How old are you, and how long have you had your Corrado/Corrado's?
OllieVR6 replied to Overmind's topic in General Car Chat
28 first and only Corrado. Had it 3 years. Sent from my HTC One X -
Is this what you want? http://www.arz-tuning.de/shop/product_info.php/info/p1748_Windshield-Trim-Kit---Corrado.html Before you order, double check availability at the stealers.
-
Well I'd buy em myself at this price if I wasn't skint!
-
Where is the best place to get one of these? Sent from my HTC One X
-
Yes they can. From the inside you need to disconnect the wiring and I think as long as the metal cover is off they should just come out :) Sent from my HTC One X

Top mounts, that's about it I think. You want genuine VW all round, anything else is unlikely to last much beyond 18 months. ---------- Post added at 10:10 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:06 PM ---------- As for where to get the v3's from...I've not seen them used before so you will likely have to buy new. Lots of places sell them but awesome-gti and venom are good places to get a baseline price from before shopping around. ---------- Post added at 10:16 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:10 PM ---------- Here's a summary for ya: 1) Need a new radiator - OEM? Are they still available? Anything else you recommend? 2) Hoses - I was thinking Samco? Have there been any new developments that surpass or equal Samco? Any other recommendations? http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?63545-Silicon-Hose-kits-for-VR6-from-Roose-Motorsport&highlight=roose 3) I know for a fact I need new suspension. Back when I used to frequent this place KW V3 was all the rage, is this still the case? If so, where is the best place to buy from? If not, what would you recommend? I basically want the best (not £5k best though before someone recommends something ridiculous). Along with the getting the suspension, what else? Front top mounts? Anything else? Get v3's + new VW top mounts as above. The car has been tucked away since Jan 2011, anything you wonderful folk would recommend checking? Anything you would say just change, even without checking? Anything I may have missed? How basic do you want to get? Check all the fluids - oil, coolant, brake. Check the tyre pressures, check the brakes and handbrake work before hooning down the road and stick a fresh tank of 98 ron in. 18 months since it last ran, might need a new battery or just a charge, otherwise, you should be good to go!

Am I the only one that thinks this looks like it's fresh out of Max Power? -
Registering interest...

Also worth noting that last time I checked, there wasn't much price difference between v2's and v3's.

Anyone have a Rieger Grille tucked away that they want to part with? Looking for one that looks like this. Ideally unpainted or in moonlight blue but any considered. Thanks.

Just found this, it's awesome!
