  1. I didn't get a VW one (obsolete or so I thought) I got the Hella one that Pete has been saying good things about (and that Dave has been using for 30k odd miles).
  2. Ok thanks folks. I can't stretch to new hoses but I can probably manage the rest. I replaced the matrix a couple of years ago so that shouldn't need doing either. I'll be getting the water pump out to check it whilst I'm in the bay, are they expensive to replace?
  3. I have ordered a new rad and want to make sure that I have all the extra parts before I start. I'm going to order an elbow from classic parts, does it come with the O ring? If not, do VW still sell them? I think I'll also get a new fan plug thing (the bronze bit). Is there anything else I'll need?
  4. I can't see why not. In terms of holes and stuff it was identical to the one I took off.
  5. Fitted mine today as I'm not painting it. Hair dryer and 3-4 mins got it dead straight. Very pleased :)
  6. I'll get you some photos tomorrow so you can make sure it's up to scratch. No idea what it's worth, £30 plus p+p? I'll PM you anyway, as we've hijacked this thread! (Sorry banan0r!).
  7. It probably has to be done from different IP addresses rather than different devices so most people can do it at least from work and home. Now I'm home I'll do it again.
  8. What colour do you want? I have a spare black carpet in pretty good condition.
  9. Mine just arrived :) I assume the fold will straighten out once fitted?
  10. Saw a lovely red C in deep cut yesterday morning about 08:30, wasn't close enough to make out any more details than that but it looked very clean.
  11. Some more advice - I washed mine with the jet wash after it was wet like yours over winter. It took 5 days to dry being outside 24 hours a day in the heat of summer! ---------- Post added at 4:50 PM ---------- Previous post was at 4:48 PM ---------- Here is the page detailing my windscreen problem: http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?43012-Ollies-VR6/page4
  12. That's excellent news! As the plastic tab that used to have my code on it seems to now be blank I didn't think I'd be able to get a spare. I know what I'll be ordering on Friday!
  13. My Clio leaks too (as did my Peugeot) so it's not just VW! When my C leaked, water was coming in from 2 places in the end. Both from behind the door car (split membrane) and from the top corner of the windscreen (passenger side). The windscreen was hard to diagnose because it came in, ran down the inside of the A pillar (under the cover) and then down from behind the glove box. Depending on how the car was parked, it would either get the front or rear wet (usually both).
  14. That's the only one for now. I need to lower it slightly at the front so from the side it looks a bit odd at the moment.
  15. Gave it a wash today, took a picture, what do you think?
  16. These are some very sexy wheels. Would love to buy them but sadly out of my price range. GLWS mate, will make someones Corrado a mean machine!
  17. Looks awesome! I'd also like to know about the key. What did you need to order it? Does it have a chip in it?
  18. Ha I know all about this!! Such an arse every time!
  19. So if I get the lines and the bolts, that's everything I need to fit mk4 rears to my 94 VR6?
  20. Can't see the pictures for some reason, but I used to LOVE TSW Venoms. When I was 17 I wanted a set so bad.....shame they haven't aged too well!
  21. Mine isn't at the moment but that's set to change soon. Once the Mrs passes her driving testing I'm expecting to say bye bye to the current work horse as I expect she'll be wanting it ;)
