Right, a friend of mine has very kindly given me his audio install as a birthday present as he was removing it from his car prior to trading it in. It comes with Vibe 6" components and a Vibe amp plus all necessary wiring. I know most people will suggest audioscape pods but they are rare, expensive and don't get around the problem of the speakers not being secured to the door. I'm thinking of making some mdf rings to secure them to the door but I'm wondering how much modifying of the door card and pocket will be needed. Any advice appreciated.

Didn't someone famous have this done on an american muscle car? I'm sure it was an old skool Challenger or similar body literally dropped onto the chassis/engine/interior of the latest model.

Sounds familiar lol!

I only paid £500 for my VR and would pay to get the head gasket done without even thinking about it. -

Key words get turned in to links?
OllieVR6 replied to OllieVR6's topic in Site Comments and Questions
To do it manually, you highlight the word and click the icon that looks like a globe with a figure 8 in front of it. Then you can type the link in. -
I've noticed that certain words (such as ebay) get turned into links to whatever the keyword is, automatically. Is this part of the forum software or do I have a virus? Can I turn it off?
-
Yeah down for lows. I can see how this is an easy mistake to make but winding them up doesn't compress the spring more to make the car lower (which is what I thought when I first got mine).

Is it resonating or non-resonating do you know? Edit - Also, is it an oval lip, rolled or straight? Can you send me a picture? -
Fibreglass Parts - do you want anything fibreglassed?
OllieVR6 replied to _Meth's topic in Suppliers Forum
Another here for late front wings. Don't current have a requirement for flared versions but if they were available I may consider it. -
So...been doing some bits to the C over the last week. Most of the interior is back in now and I have replaced the old sound deadening with Dynamat extreme under the carpet and put the left over bits under the head lining.

Well you've been very lucky to have such a treat ;) I've heard a few people say that the R8 almost feels like the Corrados bigger brother. I'd love to have a go in one!
