Well I've done some searching on the forums now and it definitely looks like I need to key them properly, everything else I have been doing seems right. If someone would be so kind as to outline a good technique I would be most grateful! :)

Hmm, I thought I had, but perhaps not. I'm no pro at spraying, luckily that first wheel was a test. Any tips for the rest?

Can anyone confirm what the part number is for the above? I couldn't find anything when searching, and on ETKA there seems to be multiple 'versions'. Thanks!

So I have decided to go satin black with my speedlines, and I thought I would get away with not having to lacquer them. However, when trial fitting the first wheel, I put quite a few chips in, so I definitely need to lacquer them. Any idea where I can get some lacquer for satin paint?

I cleared out and hoovered the boot, as well cleaning the space saver before putting it back. I refitted the plastic cover in the boot and cleaned off some rotten stickers from the inside of a couple of windows. I also fitted the VR6 badge to the badgeless grill, fitted a brand new front number plate and put my tinted headlight covers back on.

I do love the Speedlines, but like others have said, the 16" version definitely looks different. Shame cos I'd want the 16's if they were identical. -
Who's is this then? http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/V5 ... directlink

I think most people who go down the after market route go for the BMC CDA. http://www.bmcairfilters.com/infoCDA.asp -

I know nothing of Vagcom, but I do know that anything that works on Vista should be 100% compatible with Win 7.

I have an optimate for the bike but I wouldn't use it on the Rad. I got one of these for about £20 from my local auto factors, have charged it once in 6 months and the battery is still fine even though at the moment I only move the car around the drive once or twice a week. http://www.ringautomotive.co.uk/product ... ?prod=1928

Saw a Blue Rado in Victoria Way car park in Woking at about 2pm today.

How have you replaced the number plate holder on the back? I really like that. Not sure I'm diggin' the 2 tone paint, thought it would look really good, but there's something that I'm not quite getting. I reakon I'd have had blue up top then silver bumpers and silver down the sides following the arch line. Car is looking awesome tho, love it when someone does something I've not seen before!

Do you park in Sunningdale a lot? Quite often seems to be a nice green C parked on the side of the road (Bagshott side of Sunningdale) when I go through there. I always see the same green corrado parked up there too! Oh that's near me, I'll keep my eyes open! EDIT - Rob - Are you the Rob that Goz told me about?

My 2nd favourite VW after the C. I want one of these to replace my daily when I can afford one!
