I'm familiar with this, they pass on the details to anyone speeding to the police and you get a letter warning you that you were speeding. Not sure what happens if you get caught a second time, I don't think you get points, I think they send the police round for a chat. There is an old couple who live in the road parallel to my parents road and they are always out there in the summer. Last year I went up and down the road a few times on my motorbike and every time I was out of sight I booted so it sounded like I was going really fast. I don't really mind, I'm not breaking the law, but what gets me is that they get all excited and starting dancing about and focusing only on you and no one else just because you have a bike or a sporty car, they act like they have won the lottery.

How much did you pay then ollievr6? It's just about £18 from my stealers, and from VW spares plus VAT it's not far off that..? Sorry my Xbox has been calling so haven't been on 'ere for ages. I paid £25 all in for 5 litres then (as you need 5.5 for a change) I got another 1l bottle from someone on here for a few quid delivered.

Spotted a green G60 in the car park behind herbies in Farnborough today, seen it there a few times now.

Poo, sorry I didn't see your question earlier, but I actually don't know as I did my drivers side which was all broken anyway so it just came out in parts :gag: -
Saw a red one on the Red Road on Monday morning this week, I was going the other way, gave each other a wave. I see you all the time but I'm normally in my Clio, but I always point and shout 'RADOOOOOOOOOO' when I see you :salute:
-
But, as long as you tell them, they don't really care about 3 points.

It's for the rear :camp:

I think the best option is to go for the legs not the head. Just make sure they can't run (knee caps are ever so painful) then call the police. You could always say 'they tripped' whilst trying to escape. Who will they believe, you or a thief? :D EDIT - Yes I have thought about this too much, haha! -
Hey Kris, was good to meet you last week. We will have to catch up in day light so I can see your car!
-
I'd really like to take my car to one of these just so that I could get it up on a lift and take my time inspecting it etc. Anyone know if there is anything like this in the south?
-
Why is he intending to put in lots of work to get the car into top condition again?? Why are you asking why?! No no, why sell one good corrado and buy one bad corrado? EDIT - Nevermind me, getting myself confused between 2 different threads...
-
Good luck....just one question....why?
-
That is a gorgeous wheel!
-
Any car is only worth what you want to pay for it. But as is said, 'going rate' is anywhere from £1000-£3500 (roughly).
-
So I just got my Clio back from servicing and I was flicking through the computer when I found a Corrado! Check it out
-
No probs mate, thanks for getting back to me. I definitely think there is a good market there if you do manage to come up with something, people always dent them! In fact if you need a tank to test on, I've got one
-
Also, just wanted to ask, can you do motorbike petrol tanks?
-
Would 'anniversary' mean that they are hard to get and expensive?
-
Slight bump, no point in starting another thread....what wheels are these please? http://goo.gl/KWY3 Not that I can afford wheels, I just like to think I have a plan so if some money falls in my lap :cuckoo: I can go and spend it
-
Had a quick look at lunch time, it's not the prettiest thing i've ever seen :gag: Would still like to know more about it!
-
Can't be on here, you couldn't keep that a secret!

I really like the idea of this stuff, but I'm wondering about the legality of it come MOT time? I have the tinted covers that were available here for a while, but I took them off the the MOT as I didn't want to fail for something so easy to remove. Does smoking the headlights affect the already terrible night use? In my head I imagine it doesn't but just wondering really.

I bought one of these, as recommended by someone on the forum - Fits a treat http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Seat-Arosa-Ibiza- ... 5d24cd3c56 Ian :D Wow, that looks exactly like the one I got from here for £15! Should've asked first!
-
I also managed to get one from here, I paid £15 brand new. I believe it used to the case that you could only buy the whole base from the stealers for roughly £80 but I think someone also posted a part number for just the part you are after. Do a quick search, and maybe check ETKA? EDIT - Just done a search and looks like VAGparts used to do a kit: But they're long gone now :(

138k on my VR. I've only done a couple of hundred miles in it, but it came with evidence of very regular servicing (although not as regular as an enthusiast would do) and it runs lovely. My mate has a 2004 CTR and is always commenting about how smooth the VR is and how lovely it runs. Mileage counts for nothing if you ask me. :D
