  1. Tis actually a supercharger dude, although I'm sure you'll love a surpercharger thread too!! :norty: Interesting........It must now be obvious that I have barely started reading the 75+ pages of the FI thread
  2. Oooh another turbo, sweet! I love turbo projects! I'd be interested to know more about the rattles and how you found them and fixed them. Quite often I find I have a rattle that I can't locate let alone fix. Also, the windows rattling, I didn't realise that a re-grease could fix that, could you provide some more info?
  3. Looking good mate, just needs a good wash
  4. I thought about this before going with black. You might just have changed my mind!
  5. Didn't realise Cossies were so 'squirmy'!
  6. It came with strange wheels for a VR. White - brave but looks awesome! Nice one! I will look forward to seeing what's next.
  7. Not your fault mate, first come first served after all. It annoys me that they advertise it then don't bother getting back to you.
  8. How is that you have no stone chips? Has the whole front been resprayed? Been out cleaning mine today and wanted to cry from all the chips! :gag:
  9. There was a thread about this car the other day, and it was on ebay as well (as a breaker). I emailed them about a whole load of parts 2-3 days ago and they never replied, ***** :censored:
  10. Well I'm giving this a little bump. Here are some pictures, I haven't taken enough yet but it gives you an idea of the results. Most of the car looks like this: Here is the sun roof done, photo is 50/50 of sunroof and roof, if your not sure look at the difference in the relection on each side: And here is a 50/50 (the bad side doesn't look that bad but it is!) of the passenger rear quarter: Lol - in the last picture I'm squinting, I don't usually look like quite so much of a tool!
  11. Would these Steve Irwins be any good for getting out a locking wheel nut? I got a reverse threaded tool (a laser product) and it worked fine for one but I still have one that is stuck with no key and the outside part of the wheel nut that spins has broken off.
  12. Would you look at that. You're just down the road from me :) I'd love a black corrado, I love black cars!
  13. Thanks mate!!! I'll cover postage ofc! PM on it's way.

Sexy wheels indeed! I want some
  15. Wish they sold it in 6ltr not 5ltr though. 5.5 for an oil change!
  16. I will be if the price is right. I don't care if it works or not as long as it looks ok. Trying to get something original to fill the hole whilst keeping the original styling. Is it factory fit item, any piccys? :)
  17. Is it a VR, what year? This is what I thought I might find, different cars have different options. What I would love is to find out what my car came with when the original owner got it.
  18. Thanks for that bud. Did you get that from somewhere digital or do you have the original paperwork? Now to see if I can find one :norty:
  19. Has anyone got information (brochures/specs etc) on a standard VR6 stereo please? I believe they are Sony units, probably a Sony XR-5509. I've done some google-ing but nothing definitive. Thanks!
  20. Ok guys, I know someone of you frequent detailing world as I have seen your cars there. I am halfway through machine polishing mine and there will be a full write up in the coming weeks. I want to see your cars if you have done it or had it done please. I would also like to know what products you have used, the process and how long it took. I'm finding it really hard going, I started last summer doing a panel at a time and so far have finished only about 50% of the car. I'm using a Megs G220 with a Menzerna pad (the harshest one) and the harshest Menzerna polish. My process is this: 3 pea size blobs on the pad with a squirt of some quick detailer if the pad is dry. Work it across the area I want polish manually. Setting 2 to spread it about. Setting 3-4 to start breaking it down. Setting 5-6 to finish it off (needs a lot of correction). I'm doing this 3 times for each area I'm working on. So for example I split the wings into 2 halfs and each half would take an hour and a half or so. This is the first car that I have done and I'm about 80% happy with the results. Some things like dents and chips can't be fixed obviously and overall the car is 100000% better than it was. Lets hear about yours please! :D
  21. I just ordered one and so did a mate of mine. Can't believe the price, I was going to buy one of these: http://goo.gl/SKLI
  22. Yellow is the fastest colour in the world. The end.
  23. Looking great! Nice clean boot, shame to put a carpet on it
  24. I heard something about automatic garage door openers but I have no idea how it works or if it works and I wouldn't want to try it
