Bought some new cleaning gear and decided to tidy up the paint work a bit, machine polished with a wool pad and the g-technic p1 and p2 then onto 2 coats of poorboys blackhole and 2 coats of jetseal 109. Great stuff and it really does add gloss to the finish.
-

-

looks great matt, i`ll have to pop over and see the progress. -
cool fixed it now, the part i was looking for was from a metro..!! will buy the stock mount as well for future reference
-
any chance of a picture of the standard mount on the car for future reference as i`ll go back to standard fitment when i locate an original exhaust
-
so the mount is genuine as its welded to the car but what about the rubber part..?
-
This is where it fits...? looks like a stock location..?
-
Need the rubber mount for the back box and cant find the right part at the dealer, the part in the picture should have a thread attached to it..its the very last mounting point.

If i try to sell, would anyone really be interested?
C5 OEM replied to mic_VR's topic in General Car Chat
A 24v storm was for sale on ebay over the last 6 months and that could of been had for 3k, sadly the car market has been hit big and corrados even more so and having owned a converted mk2 gti 20v i know too well that converted cars do struggle to sell. For me if you wanted it to sell you`d have to put the price so low just to tempt people to take the gamble. http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?54466-1994-Vw-Corrado-24v-v6-%A32800-ono-on-fleabay!&highlight=24v -
Credit to you mate, you`ve not had an easy run with it but kept going..

I`ve had no interest in mine which i suppose is just the way the market is..yes its at the top of the scale money wise but is in very good condition as most people who have seen in the flesh will agree.. I`m unsure what kind of corrado people are looking for...? I`m at the stage now of deciding how much is too low before i store it. -

Why not just phone them...? -
The dealers can send items back to vw if they cost over £15, they have a profit margin on average of 30% and i normally get 15% off everything.
-
So which bits are being painted...? are they taking the rear quarters out...?
-
ordered the part now... gone from obsolete to 35 left...!!!
-
repost...lol
