the VR6 needs to be driven quite hard wayne if you want spirited driving being in the right gear at the right speed with the right revs will come the more you drive it

it is a shame you have lost the love zak - it looks a lovely motor, good spec, the right upgrades & recaro's too mmmmm id like some recaro's!!!

its helpful to put a bit of tape on the steering wheel & then on the trim cover behind it, in line with each other, as its easy to get the steering wheel back exactly where it was

wayne dont worry too much - you have done the hard work getting the brakes apart in the first instance, thus they should come apart easier on a 2nd time ref the pivot - i think you can just loosen the top bolt on the back of the caliper, remove the bottom bolt & then pivot the bottom out & upwards

good luck andy my valver is taking more than i had hoped to get it back on the road but hoping that will have a MOT by next week oh & from my experience the change in ride is superb once you have managed to work your way round replacing all the running gear, wishbone bushes & rear beam bushes etc ;)

When my friend used to travel a lot with work he would text me occasionally when he had a rado spot - he would always laugh & tell people 'they are rarer than a ferrari you know, ive seen loads of them today but zero rado's' lol BUT Rog feel free to drop in at mine when you pass this way again, ive 3 on the drive so you can have a multiple spot in one go ;)

agree Jim apologies also for my wording, poor not terrible is more applicable & has been edited accordingly i am also a believer that life should take priority over work & DG may have a good reason for whats happening. i hope for those of who had a good rapport with DG there is some light shed soon

I have never used DG but i would agree with you Jim & ozowen & anyone else who used them frequently. it is poor customer service & must be a bit of a kick in the teeth to those who thought they had a good working relationship with DG However, my only contact with the company consisted of a single phone call when i called to ask them about the headlight loom & tidy box they started to produce......i was greeted with a very abrupt, completely disinterested & grumpy 'we dont do them' suffice to say i never bothered to call them again when i wanted all my engine work done on the VR even though they were closer in distance than stealth
