Woo Hoo!!! Yay, I have a box in the living room from Chinaland with 100 switches inside!!! I will start to go through the list in order tomorrow to send out payment instructions by pm. I'll then post off the switches as soon as work allows. Next week I'm working close to a Post Office, so this will be easy to send them out. Finally they arrived, thanks for all your patience everyone.

Yay, have some good news guys. Had an email this morning stating that my parcel will be sent out to me today by courier. The last time, it only took 3 days to arrive! So based on that, we should be able to start things moving with asking for ya money and sending the switches out next week. Still plenty available if anybody hasn't seen this thread and would like to put their name down for one (or 2!).

Weekend bump. Offers?

Weekend bump. Is it the wrong price? Been out of the loop for a bit, I'd rather someone have a part they need than hanging onto it for ages for the best price possible.

I have a great condition airbox, not been drilled or modified. It has a performance looking filter inside but I would allow for it needing to be changed as I don't know how old it is. I bought this for my old car but sold the car before getting around to fitting it. After what I paid for it, so £45 posted please.

I'm going through the basement and starting to move on parts that I won't be using now. I have this MAF that I know came from a working car. The mesh is very good with no marks on it. It looks like it has been opened in the past as there is a bit of silicon sealant around the black panel. £23 posted.

Hi guys, yes I'll add you all to the list when I get home. Thanks also. After a 3 week gap in emails to the manufacturer ( yes I got a bit twitchy as they hadn't confirmed my payment. The contact was off sick), I've now been told that my order will be pushed through the production run. He did say to expect it to take 30 days, so its longer than I had expected. Still at least its happening now!

That's the car I've had thoughts on in years to come. I don't see why it can't be a car you could do work on yourself. I spoke to a guy who owns one and he told me about him unbolting the rear and taking the engine out in only a few hours himself. A £10k 996 is still going to be a fun and rewarding car to own. As stated, the front isn't the best looker. A couple of grand of parts and you can bolt on a 997 front end, a direct replacement. Still by the time I'm ready to buy, a 997 would probably have dropped enough in value!

No news yet guys, waiting to hear back from the suppliers. Not very exciting but just wanted to keep you all informed.

Hi DerbikThese switches are made as LHD, all I do is remove a plastic piece on the back of the switch that allows them to be fitted into a rhd car. So you will be fine for your friends in Poland. If you want to let me know numbers of switches, I can sort you out with a good deal.Cheers mate.
