A lot of the poorer examples are slipping away now and leaving behind the cared for cars. I would expect to see them steadily (slowly) climb from now on. Look at the prices asked for, for ropey old mk2 Golfs!

Hey Chris, Yep as stated, the oil won't surge to one end or the other when hard cornering. There are two shaped walls inside the sump. Another good plus point to the sump- its Alu. Lighter and dissipates heat quicker, acts as an oil cooler.

Hi guys, I bought this from the group buy recently. Never fitted and undamaged. It looks like I don't need to keep it anymore as an engine I'm going for has a protected steel plate sump. I saw there were a few asking the group buy if anymore could be found after they all sold out. So if there are no takers then I can go back and them if they would still be after one. To fit the sump, you need paste which is £15 from TPS. I will supply a tube I bought for the sump. I'll take a pic or two tomorrow if needed. I'm after £90 ono posted which would cover my outlay on the sump and paste. It will be sent in a well padded strong box. Cheers all.

Haha I would swap for a VSR no problem!!! Not due to your post Kev but I have decided to put the sale of this lot on hold for now. There's a chance of a new engine, so I might think about using this setup whilst its out of the car. Sorry to be a pain to any interested parties in this.

Hmmm, maybe but wouldn't the remap with this engine be better than an OBD2 setup?

Could be interested here buddy. My engine is a bit smokey now on the overrun. I've thinking of R engines but to me that's going to be hard work or expensive. This is a more straight forward option. Not sure what questions I need to ask but can you give any more details and pics please?

Of course I can do some movement with the price to help you out rather than hold onto it forever and a day waiting for the top price. I'm guessing you would need postage, so I can send it with no charge for posting plus knock a tenner off. £240 posted, saving £25-30. Sound fair?

There's plenty of slam panels from breaking cars. Would be mental to buy that new! Hope you get it all sorted.
