  1. Oh yes Joe :thumbleft: Can't wait to see how crazy this car will be.
  2. Scott's switch posted off to the U.S of A. Weekend bump as there's a fair number of newbies along now who might have seen this buy yet. Getting through the batch now guys but still have a good amount to those interested. Cheers all.
  3. I'm getting into a T5 next month and once its been converted with rear seats and smart new toys, I'll wonder how much use the C will get then. A T5 will do all the jobs of an estate and more of course. Might be able to pick one up for £5k. I'll have to think about whether to keep the C or not. Somedays its deff going and others I can't part with it! Grrr!

    Tps?

That be the ones. Officially only sell to the trade. It depends on which branch you go to if they will sell to the public. My local ones are sweet, at the end of the day they see our money as being as good as the trades. So they will sell to me but I've heard of some places being snotty and sending people on their way. Pot luck really.
  5. Hi Scott I'm sure there will be some very technical guys that can help out with the fuse issues you're having far better than I could manage. Beyond me! I'm going to the Post Office tomorrow to send some switches. I will ask the shipping charges and timescales for you. On Paypal, you could change the currency into pounds to pay and it works out the dollar cost to your balance. Maybe an easy way of doing it? Have you got any Corrado owning friends that could benefit from have a spare switch? I'll get back to you asap with details. Many thanks for your interest.
  6. Thanks so much mate, they are great little units :thumbleft:.
  7. Only just seen this. Wow, you'll make me blush! Lol. It was a pleasure being able to help out and glad you like the seats. I'll be looking for pics now! Cheers buddy.
  8. Haha, don't tell me I should've gone for it. I'll be gutted now. Have to keep an eye on how you get on with it. Best of luck mate.
  9. I saw this one on ebay and thought about going for it. LIke the idea of the 24v engine, hope you get on well with it mate. Don't spend too much on it.
  10. I do like this but I lean more towards the Subaru version. A slightly better look to me. It does seem underpowered compared to other similar cars available. Saw the Nissan 370Z the other day and, yes please!
  11. Dodgy scamming buggers Rob. Don't touch with a big barge pole mate. You could have some fun with them and start asking them loads of really confusing and increasingly stupid questions until they get the idea and leave you alone. This is a known way of scamming people as they pay into your Paypal for the car and I think they somehow manage to retract the money after the deal and leave you carless and no money.
  12. Just noticed there's 1885 people online! 337 members and the rest guests. The most ever recorded. Is it a coincidence with the change or not? Good to see higher traffic here.
  13. Hi Lee, Postage to Spain is no problem. Might just take a day or two more to reach you. Paypal is good with me, I'll pm you my details. There won't be any issues with where your car is from as the switch will fit. Many thanks mate, Matt.
  14. Location: Torquay Price: 250.00 GBP Date added to Classifieds: 27th Dec 2011 Description: Hi guys, I have this full OBD2 setup from a late Golf VR6. It has everything needed to convert your VR to OBD2. Its good all coming from the one car as you know it all works nicely together. Full loom MAF Inlet Manifold Key and Transponder Exhaust Lamda Throttle Body I could well have forgotten to list something but I know the full amount of parts needed are included as I removed them personally from the donar car. I have started to strip the loom but haven't finished it yet. Only selling as I know in the coming months I won't have the available time to complete this conversion which I'm frustrated about as its a very nice improvement on the original. Any questions then please pm me. Thinking of £250 for a quick sale as these normally go for £300+ or people take ages picking up all the parts from different motors. Postage can be arranged between us or can be picked up from me and I can talk you through all the bits and bobs. Cheers Matt.
  15. I know, I was gutted when I heard it as I didn't think there would be a chance to save anywhere else.
  16. Looking good Dave. Not even thought about the install of my set yet! Could you list the extra bits you needed to buy to be able to fit them please? You wouldn't mind putting price and supplier could you? They look very tidy, glad I decided to get them as I thought it would be pretty much the last chance to get them at that price.
  17. Thats where I got mine from. TPS wanted in the region of £180 :bonk:
  18. No, mine only locked up after I fitted the new regulator. It must of been set up wrong from the garage. There's a sliding scale of where the bolt is tightened up. Mine was about a quarter way up from the bottom. Moved the bolt up to just over half way. I couldn't get the rear to lock however I tried to make it happen. Nice again now.
  19. They are Pug faced, from the Beano or Dandy comics. Can't remember which. A bit goofy looking cars. Very happy the Maclerans don't follow suit. Come on Button and Hamilton in that order! I can't wait to go to Silverstone. Doing a full 4 day camping stay! Party on!
  20. I had to fit a new brake regulator as the old one seized. Fitted it and drove the car, oof scary rear locking. I had help on here about adjusting the position to just over half way sorted it completely. You might need a new one.
  21. Didn't know what to expect after I was robbed of my time watching 2 mins of the amateur Star Wars. This was awesome!
  22. What's all this then mate??? DETAILS!!!! :thumbleft:
  23. 2.9 VR6 engines :thumbleft: (hee hee, maybe not) A few smokey old rattlers out there by now!
