  1. I'd be over the moon if I had an R engines Rado. Very satisfying to do it yourself, something I would struggle with a lot. That high powered factory Evo gave the Lambo a hard time round the Topgear track a while back.
  2. Haha was only thinking of something a little more competitive for the Macleran. Not trying to beat it as thats very expensive to do!
  3. They have electric adjustments on them and the bolsters are much deeper and supportive than the pics show. The most comfy seats I've sat in.
  4. What about a tuned R32 turbo then Kev? Wouldn't be lacking too much surely? Will you be resisting the turbo for long?
  5. Hi mate, Give me a shout if you do want a new switch to go with putting a fuse in the line. And, no the switches aren't available in shops or online as I've brought them into the country direct from the manufacturer. HTH, cheers Matt.
  6. Oh, I've not got a Storm.....can't have them. But wait......it's a Storm colour. Happy days. I keep thinking wheels or suspension? I did enquire with James about the TH2's, these are a bit cheaper though.
  7. Boost for the S4 it is then :thumbleft:
  8. I'm sure there's a Corrado on the forum wearing these, there have been pics of them I'm sure. Would be a big help to have a pic or two of them on a C. I am tempted as they are a smart wheel and different to the crowd.
  9. No, he has the door pockets that came with my doorcards. You're having a laugh at £45 for the mirror adjustor, elec window switches and a few clips etc. I bought my mirror adjustor I needed when mine broke on ebay for £6, window switches cost me £10 and I thought someone would be kind enough to give doorcard clips and brackets away, hardly a chargeable part. I would've given them if I'd had them. I've given parts away in the past so I'm not just saying this, I gave a set of wheels away on a different forum.
  10. Haha, will do mate. Think I'll use the scuttle trim and see what thats like but the number plate plinth isn't good enough. I'll just keep learning and playing with it.
  11. I'm looking at booking tickets for the weekend with camping, are there any special offers going? I've seen the standard prices but would be great to have a bit of a deal going on :thumbleft:
  12. Ahh well if you put it like that, then I understand completely. Very nice and I think I need to be given a demo drive by you to show how good they. I had a lift in one and loved it. I'd have one in a heartbeat. Nice one mate.
  13. Thanks for the ideas guys, I'm not after anything coated or polished. Just replacements in Stainless if possible.
  14. Chatting to Robrado974 today, I commented about being able to find a job lot or pack of S/S nuts bolts etc to redo the engine bay of our VR's. A lot of the originals are looking a little worse for wear over the years. I've seen on ebay that someone sells polished bolts but don't like the idea of continually cleaning and polishing them. What's available peeps?
  15. Robrado974 helped me to clear out the crud and crap under the battery and washer bottle. Also wrapped the wires where the old VW tape had started to come off. Cleaned the engine bay and re-routed some wires. Looks a lot better now. Cheers Rob.
  16. Thanks for your good feedback and I'm glad you're happy. Enjoy mate. ---------- Post added 22nd January 2012 at 12:03 AM ---------- Previous post was 21st January 2012 at 11:59 PM ---------- Thats fine buddy, I'll pm you my details and you do the payment on or after your payday. Thanks mate.
  17. Haha, I forgot I put that but have been thinking along those lines recently. Have even put my OBD2 kit up for sale so I must be subconciously going in this direction. This is a lovely R32 and is an inspiration to lots on here.
  18. Hey guys, Thanks for the continued interest through this process. So the Chinese company proved to be a false dawn but I'm not one to give up at the first hurdle! This is where we are at the moment. We are working together with a company specializing in Carbon and Kevlar construction. This is not going to be a garage workshop project. We are taking the necessary time to make things work out properly and that means a long time working on the molds. We are looking to add a little twist and accomodate you guys who would want to run with slighter wider wheels. But keep the original looks also. No details at this time but thats the plan. No pricing details as its too early in the process. I'm sure fibreglass canbe looked into if the demand is there. Watch this space......but it might be a while :bonk::thumbleft:
  19. Yep there's a big void in behind the rear card. You can get loads of access in there buddy. Just go slowly with the clips.
  20. Sorry no I didn't think about those as I remembered you said next week for those. Wondered about the number plate plinth?
  21. Did you get a chance to post my bits this week Neil? No worries if you didn't.
  22. Not bad, nice individual look. Looks like you could do with a new headlight switch there :thumbleft:
  23. I guess that's one that doesn't need trimming! Haha. So how good would you say it is then please Kip? Pics would be good. TBH I will need to see if there are any other offers first mate. Thanks though.
  24. Hello and welcome! I could do with getting myself an un-molested Airbox and filter please. My original had holes drilled in it and being nice , I gave it away. So I'd like to see what the car is like on its standard gear. What you got peeps? Cheers for your help if you can offer one.
