  1. I'd go for roof rubbers and indicators bud. What a guy!
  2. Plinth and light holder arrived safely mate. Many thanks.
  3. Very kind of you to say. There's threads on Vortex about the lhd centre console you're after. I'm sure you can get them new from China as I've seen them on a website. Not cheap but I can't remember at the moment where I saw them. I'll see if I can find it for you.
  4. Got to be worth a look. I couldn't look as it would be too upsetting to me  http://www.google.co.uk/aclk?sa=l&ai=COfnzeK0pT8GmBYaGOuHktdALnvLaggGS9tWCEIr6xUQIABABIMeY-AUoA1De95XJ-v____8BYLu-roPQCqABptSl_wPIAQGpAmHsFNVhmLo-qgQWT9A8sxHNQ5-XxCyVOzmisX5vDWidz4AFkE4&sig=AOD64_0d-tdV_20j1SZW1asOclP-43tgHw&ved=0CA0Q0Qw&adurl=http://www.dreamgarage.co.uk
  5. Good news for you mate, I would love a garage. My brother has just finished a garage extension. He fitted a roller shutter electric garage door. Works really well at keeping heat in as its got rubber gaskets at the sides and bottom. He plumbed in a rad for heat. Works very well. You can get those ramps that lift up to waist height for about £1500, not too bad a price if you use it enough.
  6. Hi mate, glad you joined up. I'm on SWDubs also and pointed you in this direction. Have a look in the classifieds or put a wanted ad up for the bits needed. Good luck with it mate.
  7. Think you need to go and view the car for the good of the forum and report back :thumbleft:
  8. Hmmm, I've been told that before! You're still not selling it to me :bonk:
  9. Very smart, like that a lot. Welcome to the forum.
  10. A nice example of the forum helping someone out in a fix. Nice one guys.
  11. Its the Autoglym High Definition Wax. Not anything new to the market, just new to me as I've never been too bothered about this sort of thing in the past. Yours should be shiny as it was buffed to within an inch of its life before you got it! Lol.
  12. Haha, cheers buddy. How are you getting on with yours? Next plans? ---------- Post added at 11:07 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:02 PM ---------- Your fault the car is looking good, I'm pleased at the moment with it. You made me go and buy some of that super wax you've got. It was a very good turn out for the meet. Over 200 cars, very relaxed and chilled. Not a hint of hassle or trouble and definately no chav cruise burnouts!!! ---------- Post added at 11:09 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:07 PM ---------- I was very pleased with this pic as it was done on a fancy camera. Picked up the reflection nicely I thought
  13. Hi Neil, Sorry forgot to say the VDO gauges and badge turned up safely the other day. You know when the plate plinth and light holder will be sent off? Many thanks for your hard work organising it all.
  14. Can't believe I've missed this update as I've been waiting to see them on the car. Very tasty :thumbleft:.
  15. Anyone that can sit through two hours of that is doing better than me! I managed about 2 minutes and included going upstairs and back.
  16. Have you sorted the bits out for your big brakes Chris? You alright buddy?
  17. As above, your switch went out in the post today Dave. Many thanks mate.
  18. Its been a quiet time for the old girl with not a lot going on. I have been corrupted a fair amount by Langers and Robrado for the cleaning and general tiding up of the car. Rob helped me with cleaning the engine bay. Removed the battery and washer bottle, cleaned the crud and rubbish out of there. A few cables needed to be wrapped, so we used the self-amalgating tape to sort that. Had the rear and side tints removed at last. A much better look now for the car. I went to the local SW Dubs big meet today and there was over 220 cars turn out for it. A very good day. A rolling shot on the way there-
  19. Really enjoyed that, very good tension watching the track stuff.
  20. Looking forward to it. Lots! Best entertainment on telly.
  21. I've not replied to this thread as I couldn't help with the hoses. My calipers came with hoses attached and they were long enough and screwed onto the car ends. I think the size discs you use are determined by which calipers you've bought. Mine, I had to use a 28mm disc so that meant the 323mm Cupra R disc. Some smaller Porsche calipers will let you use a 25mm disc. What have you bought?
  22. Don't start him off about Recaro's, he goes all silly thinking of them all day
  23. I've got a pair off a Storm but there's no Corrado in writing on them. One has a very small piece broken at one end. Wow not selling them very well am I! Let us know if they are any good to you and they wouldn't be expensive.
