gutted mate! there seems to be a few C`s crashed recently, as you may know me&sonia are in a similar position, stripping the interior is pretty easy, did all of it in one day with a minimal of tools and experience, exterior bits like lights, sunroof etc also easy although i`m not sure your insurance will let you touch it unless you buy it back again sorry to hear it

grill and front badge broke i`m afraid!! early bonnet is (obviously in red) and in good nick, one scratch and rain spots after its been sitting, it was only resprayed last year and a good polish would sort it! door handles both work fine Pm for pics on request

jedi-knight83, i`ve just edited my post to make it a bit clearer, its an early one i`m afraid-manual windows and recessed fogs!

i`m stuck on how to get the dash out! i`ve removed everything i can see but it just feels stuck at the windscreen... is it the metal brackets (see below) and how do i get `em off :mad: bleeding knuckles!!!!!

right i`ve got £1600 for the car and bought it back for £350 the higher he went the higher the salvage went so compromised, that was the max he would go to, if i`d refused again he said he had to send his report and the car would go into holding i didnt want that as my mate who was doing the same ended up with his car in scotland(long way from here!!!)and so couldnt get it back! anyway the cars been picked up this morning and is at my parents house, and yes they`re dead chuffed about that!!! gonna start stripping it tomorrow so keep an eye on for sale bits off 1990 1.8 16v or if anyone wants anything feel free to drop me a line and i`ll get back to you, cant really say about time though as i`m working away next week but i`ll do as much as i can ASAP ben

buy a new one for sonia strip and sell her old one tint my rear lights all the rest i can only dream about..... turbo, splits, respray.....etc

caiosG60 had lots of problems trying to source a fuel pump for his golf G60, there were 2 makes (i forget the names) but the pumps were part of the change-over and the pumps and senders are non-compatible, dunno if its the same for corrado`s but i`m sure it`s worth checking! :)

they got loads of C`s on autotrader and i lways was a bit dubious of them!!! seen as i am looking for a new one i`m defo going private....gonna buy of here if i can?!

mine came with 17`s on it and i DONT think it`d had any arch work done, it was lowered 40mm and it did rub occasionally on full lock

yeah i got something right!!!! i just got given a handfull of circlips by VW (for free)and was told to see witch one fitted, first one i picked up....voila as good as new!!! 8)
