    Tyres

pirrelli p6000 didnt ispire much confidence in the wet but were very long lasting then Falken (cant remember the code) better dry and wet grip then toyo proxes t1-s excellent dry grip, wet is good - did increase road noise homever and are quite soft so may not last that long (depends on your driving though eh?) but thats all im gonna put on from now on, for the price i would say get them have a look here for good prices and reviews 8) http://www.mytyres.co.uk/start.html
  9. cheers Kev quite simple then eh??
  10. sorry its running 10" sony sub, matched to the amp the HU has 3v sub pre-out with bass adjustment that doesnt effect the bass going to the components up front they have their own adjustment
  11. could so-one please explain to a dumb-ass (me) what these do and what they should be set at! obviously i`ve had a play with them but dont really understand it in laymans terms also my alpine HU has variable frequencies for bass, is it as simple as setting my Amp and HU the same ie 100Hz thanks and sorry for being thick :? :?
  12. i did do a search but couldnt find much ooh well
  13. do you know of any famous people who own(ed) corrado`s?? i remember reading in sprinter that Shaun Ryder used to have one! 8) a red one that was stolen and used as a getaway car after robbing a chip shop!!!! any more??
  14. you should also be able to change the barrel on the new handle for your old one so your old key works, just make sure you got ur key in it or else all the springs will pop out! however it worked on my first handle but not on my second! the old barrel sat about 3mm proud of the new handle
  15. just one screw on the inside of the door-where it meets the rear panel, theres no secret screw! it just needs a wiggle!! you may find that the wiring for the central locking is secured about half way down inside the door, but you`ve already got door card off so you should be able to see that when u got it off and are replaceing the new one make sure the stricker is the correct side of the lock mechanism, that the wiring isnt being trapped and that it doesnt foul the window on its way down! hope this helps??
  16. Im on 142k just had head rebuilt before xmas, so i dunno??? if its running ok then just keep an eye on it :?

  18. do a search on here for radweld, i vaguelly remember someone saying is it not good for our cars whats your milage? i always have some white smoke outta my exhausts, but dont lose coolant so figure its just steam also what tailpipe you got? upswept could possibly collect a bit of water in it and therefore produce steam as it heats up? just a guess.....
  19. it is indeed jade metallic green, a very nice colour IMO and quite rare!

  21. thanx i used to know and impressed a few people saying "yeah my 13 year old car has MPG, oil temp, secret modes!!!...... blah blah blah" aint the C ace! 8)
  22. generally my dealer is ok, let me look about on their EKTA, sqeeze me in when they`re full, give me discount and are generally quite sound, but i think thats because a mate of mine is head leccy bloke there and he got a rallye and a G60 corrado......but just before my dad bought the car it had a full service there and they recommended changing discs and pads all round that was on 99k and now i`m on 142k and am just thinking about changing them. :-P
  23. yeah mush more comfortable, it used to tram line quite badly on 17`s and roads up here are sh1te, my dad couldnt believe it was the same car and was gutted he sold after driving it on 15`s   he begged me to put him on my insurance!! 8)
