kev honestly i`m not following you about!!! but this is very relevant to me... car had VW service @95k advised new discs and pads in 5k! now done 45K extra and finally i think the`ve given up the ghost i`m going for VAG disc F&R Pagid fast road pads front VAG rear is this correct?? BUMP for personal gain!!! :oops:

AFAIK J reg is changeover time for pre & post facelift so if it `91 it should fit! pls dont quote me on that one!

fair enough!! does anyone on here have a mum or dad who drives a corrado?? an ex of mine`s dad used to have a storm until he got hijacked at knife-point!!! he got it back about 2months later with a couple of thou` miles on it and an amp and sub!! :?

i thought you had to change wings and stuff? or is that The differences in pre and post facelift models?? why you changing it anyway? personally i think the late bonnet is a bit bulky! especially where it comes over to meet the grill.... a bit too round for my liking (maybe just my opinion!!)

tell you wot is funny! my dad used to keep a baseball cap in the C to cover his grey hair when he was crusing! :lol: :lol: :lol: and he`s still paying for the corrado as i keep getting interest (and payment) free loans of him to fix it! :D

cool!! a mate let me drive his 355 a few months ago, only a few miles but it was fantastic! nearly 90mph in second gear produced a nice little soundtrack!!!!! got to 130mph then bottled it as i realised i would be in serious trouble if i did anything wrong :lol: and it had the added bonus of a fit girl who`d never spoken to me before coming up to me the next day and starting up a conversation. i tried to pretend it was mine but couldnt keep a straight face! :lol: :lol:

about £500 for shocks springs inc delivery and vat from stealth about £100 for the other stops etc... then just fitting and tracking/camber costs!

i`m parked facing down a hill and its pi$$in down so i rushed a bit and would probably say they`re the same!

beal i called into pentraeth again today and the ekta said they had 5 in stock for about £18 + the vat i`ve ordered one and i`ll go have a look tommorow and let you know if its the correct one ben

rihjt heres what i fitted koni TA`s H&R springs both from stealth rubberstop x2 part no 357412303E stop x2 part no 191512131B tube x2 part no 191513425 bellows x2 part no 357413175 mounting x2 part no 357412329 all from VAG we checked all the other bushes, ball joints etc... and all seemed in good nick, just cut the bumpstops as required. oh, and i left the rear height adjusting C-clip on the middle slot. all this leaves the car sitting 55cm from the centre of the arch to ground with about 10cm of clearance on the front spoiler (90mm one) a modest drop but far from being too low! :D

dont you worry they`re already on my wish list! do i need front and rear ARB`s or just rears for now?

me mates got a ibiza tdi 130 but with a chip from awesome and its rapid, just dont like all the gear changing! personally i think its a great feeling in my 16v hittting 7200rpm and a great sound although i was scared when it was on the rollers at dubsport when the speedo was at 150mph and the limiter kicked in!!! as for what to buy... idunno.... a mondeo???? :? :oops: :wink:
