hi peeps was wondering wheres the thermostat on a 16v its a 89 kr engine

as everyone else said its worth around 1200 to 1500 put the 20vt init and ups the price by almost 2k :D

im guessing the problem you have is that you haven't cut your hands yet. the corrado was designed with a mechanism that meant it would hold back all wiring in a difficult place to reach until you had cut your hands up a bit. as soon as it senses blood, the wire is released. HTH. that sounds about right lol go for down the drivers side it only took me a few minutes and 3 cable ties to get it tidy :D

lol should of cleaned the fronts there very different wheels when clean :lol: but i have put 1 on the cabby and there look sweet so looks like the mims will be fitted to the corrado :D

ive ran mine above the fusebox and down the side of the carpet but theres nothing stopping you going straight down the centre.

you can strip almost everything out seats, seat belts rear, passanger seat and seatbelt, carpets, doorcards, sound proofing rear wiper, centre console, ect its depending how noisie you can take lol if your really keen replace windows with plexy glass and get rid off the winder regulators and glass theres some things thats not needed

Hi all as some know i bought a golf cheap of ebay well i started to polish the wheels and wondering what you think of them on the corrado. sorry about the grubby picture off the car and lack off side reapeter :lol: front are oz routes rear is mim which do you think look better i know the car will need a bit lowering on the rear

ive seen this car at so many shows but your never around one day ill track you down to say hello :D

there easy to fit but supposed to give the car a hard feel. your be looking at around £50 for the set theres a different poly bush make thats sup;posed to give a nice feel to the car without the harshness and i think there cheaper :D

aslong as the tray hasnt got movement you should be fine, the mot is stupid the battery tray has to be secure but the battery can be loose and there can only advise on it lol

put the battery back in and see if its secure there can only fail what there see and in most cases will go through :D

ive got a similar one it dont make any performance but it does sound different gives it a bit more of rasp when revving as for the heat soak havent noticed any difference nor does it get hot :D

you can run the carbs on a normal setup you might have to advance the timing slighlty but easier and cheaper than buying a mangerment system. im thinking of doing the same conversion in my mk1 runningr1 carbs :D but now thinking i might run bike injection system to be different :lol:

on the budget your going to be limited for new wheels your be looking at some wolfrace deep dish which are common kei wheels are nice but slightly more expensive ats cups can be bought on the budget but i reckon buy 2nd hand and get some bbs there inkeeping with the car and will be worth the same when you sell them.

picked it up this morning and its not to bad a few parts missing but not to bad. picked up a fuel pump so will go for a start tomorrow but turns over nicely and looks like fresh oil new cambelt ect :D . very small amount of rust and doesnt look like theres any welding needed just the electrics are shot in the rear and font lights so reckon in 2 weeks it will be moted :shock:

fsit lump after a chip and a few minor mods runs 300hp thats the future then if you want more turbos are easy interchargeable ect. :D

ive decided to get the work done on it and drive it around and take the rado off the road and get a new engine for it :D thinking 24valves sounds nice :shock: also get a few points of the bodywork done at the same time

lack off 16vs here there must be all dirty engines lol :lol: im hoping to get mine up by the weekend but its not as bling as most :lol:

i reckon your be better off selling the vr and buying a 16v the engine mounts line up. also you could sell a vr for around 2500 buy a 16v for 1200 and you have a good start on the cost for around 400hp your need as much as you can lay your hands on
