Cheers for that, have you ordered your lamin-x yet?
-
Thanks for your reply but is that subtle on the head lights and fogs/indicators as i want to match the lamin-x product to the clip on headlight covers bought from here !
-
Right i've order a set of tinted headlight covers through the forum, just awaiting delivery. I also want to protect/tint my front fogs and indicators with the lamin-x product, has anyone else done this? I'm hoping to get the tint on both as close as posible but don't know whether to go for subtle tint or the gunsmoke for the closest colour match! Cheers Andrew

So if you were replacing all 3 mounts on a VR which mounts would you use and where. I know you said the VT front mount but would you use the road or the competion ones? Could you state which grade and where please! Cheers Andrew

What price are these now then? -
I'm sort of local to you and i'm running TA Koni's and H&R springs on mine and would happily take you out for a spin if it helps! Andrew

Not that it will make any difference or i need to justify myself but here's both sides:
-
To be honest i don't like seeing anyone being out of pocket and if i'd been told sorry about that throw them out and here's say £15 i would have gone with that no more said!

Re: arch liners Sent: November 6th, 2009, 6:40 pm by ANDREW 30 If i send them back to you i'll be further out of pocket! Andrew Quote besian Re: arch liners Sent: November 6th, 2009, 4:14 pm by besian all i wanted to clarify was that u didn't buy 2 i included one for free. In terms of ur problem do u want to send them back to me? Re: arch liners Sent: November 6th, 2009, 12:28 pm by ANDREW 30 Hi mate, Your right i only wanted the drivers side liner, but i've paid £23 for something that is in worse condition than what i've got on my car! The edges where it should meet the metal arch lip have both been cut away by up to an inch and a half in places, so not only will i have a gap but i'll also be missing points to attach the liner! Andrew Quote besian arch liners Sent: November 6th, 2009, 12:18 pm by besian didn't realise that, firstly u only wanted one arch liner if i remember correctly but i chose 2 send u both of them for the price that u paid for one as i thought u might aswell have it as a spare. Also these where sent via a courier so as u can imagine once u take postage packing costs out of the equation i haven't really made anything on them as such.

I've no problem with that, i was thinking about putting my comment here for all to see! I've said all i have to say on the subject, it's just a shame you could'nt be honest and decent like every other member i have dealt with on here!

Looks great, are the wheels on spacers or are they 9" wide?
-
So your just a conman as i thought selling crap and then expecting me to pay for goods that are only fit for the bin. Under distance selling rules the seller is legally bound to pay for return of goods that are'nt fit for purpose unless it is clearly stated that returns are at the buyers cost in their sales advert!
-
So if it costs me £12 or £15 to return them due to their awkward shape and size, it will have cost me £12 or £15 to end up with nothing. And i'll be returning something that is only fit for the bin and you sent them to me knowing that in the first place! I've just bought another arch liner from 87 jetta 16v to prove i'm not try to pull a fast one!
-
They are no use to me, but how much is it going to cost me to send them back and why should it cost me anything! I bought these believing them to be in good condition, i can't believe on a friendly forum a member would sell another member tat. I've got all the messages sent between us and your post above is the first with any mention of a refund! Andrew

I bought a drivers side wheel arch liner from Besian for £23 a while back, when the package arrived he'd sent both sides but they were totally useless as they'd been removed from the car with what looks like a hacksaw and the outside edge that should meet and fix to the arch lip has been totally cut away and would leave gaps of about 40mm in places! On contacting the seller the only reply i got was "that u didn't buy 2 i included one for free. In terms of ur problem do u want to send them back to me?" Which is only going to leave me further out of pocket! Andrew

when i bought mine i was planning on getting some paint done, but within 2 weeks it was in having a full respray. Luckily my nice neighbour owns a top notch body shop and i got a full respray for £1000 cash! :D
-
I fitted mine at the weekend and they are quite big, but the fit is good! I used about 8 screws in each pod!

A few people have suggested to get an amp, well is this one suitable : http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stor ... yId_165526 or could you give me a link to what i should be looking at! Andrew
-
I'm not sure about the amp, i'm only after good quality sound not to try and shake my car to bits! I had a quick look at amps but i don't have a clue what i'd need to be honest, would this do me: http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stor ... yId_165526 ? If not a link to 1 would be good! Cheers Andrew
