    Yes my front speakers are rainbow components with separate tweeters and crossovers.

    I was'nt really planning on cutting up my rear shelf just after some decent bang for my buck in the original locations. I might add a bit of sound proofing too!

    I've already bought myself some audioscape door pockets fitted with 6.5" rainbow speakers, but what speakers would people suggest to replace the dash and rear speakers with? I don't want to spend an absolute fortune, but looking for something good for the cost or punches above it's weight! Andrew

    Do you think they might have forgoten to refill the oil and then quickly added it when they realised their mistake!

    Changing the bulbs once you've got the dials out is a piece of cake, the bulbs are mounted in a plastic holder and you turn them 90 degrees to remove them! It seems strange that they'd all be gone tho!!!

    It will probably be cheaper to replace your rear calipers with mk4 ones than the cost of the parts to rebuild your old ones!

    Mine flew through this year, but i've probably spent at least 3k on it over the last 4 months!

    I found my dremel was'nt up to the job and used wire wheels in a drill!

    I got my VR insurance through admiral, it cost me £225.10!

    I'm good for most Sunday afternoons and Truro or a bit further is okay for me, but as were getting close to November most shopping sites are going to be getting quite busy soon!

    My dragon green vr has a black carpet, so i guess there must be plenty around! I'm sure i've seen a company advertising carpets etc in performance vw mag.

    This is no real help for your problem , but i got pulled for my press plates a few months ago and the fine has gone up to £60 !

    I'm looking at buying a full set of VF Engineering engine mounts for my corrado, but it's my daily drive so i don't want loads of vibration are these going to be my best option? Or is there a better combination of upgraded mounts that i should be looking at ? Just to add the engine is all but standard at the moment, but it might not stay that way! Andrew

    Do you mean just fitting a gasket or a skim etc? I've just had the later done and without including any of the extra's that i had done at the same time you'll be very lucky to get any change from £700 !

    I'm sure i've read on here that the ABS unit has bleed nipples, so it can be bleed too!
