I think you'll find there was an Italian footballer called Corrado Grabbi who used to play for Blackburn Rovers. Probably all related to that rather than cars.

TSR should do a very good job. You've probably seen the work they did on a Mk2 Golf GTi for Fifth Gear - trying to paste link below but might not work. First bill will no doubt be high but then you should get peace of mind. http://www.youtube.com/watch?gl=GB&hl=en-GB&v=KtpsKV-8C_k

UB - looks like you're only about 8 miles away from me in Bracknell. Love the fact you've got a Campaign model. I first saw one of these back in the late 90's and thought the leather was a bit OTT. However times change and my daily driver Mk2 Audi TT has a lovely Nappa red leather interior - didn't go for the extended option but it's still loud and proud.

Good luck - I actually recognise the car as one I test drove a few months back. I walked away as to drive in a straight line I had the steering wheel at 5-10 degrees from normal - perhaps this has been rectified since then. The ABS light also behaved rather like an old choke light - on for the first 5 minutes and then it disappears. As you mention it's worth getting it checked out and don't be surprised if the first bills are high. I get my surprise tomorrow when my 137,000 Storm gets it's first major service since I bought it.

This is a bit random but worth a try. I vaguely recall sitting on Haywards Heath railway station back in 1988 and seeing a large poster advertising the launch of the Corrado. It had a nugget yellow car and I'm not too sure if the slogan was something like "your best friend will hate you" or something about it being in "your best friend's garage". I admit neither of these slogans sounds right but my memory thinks it was something similar. Does this ring any bells with anyone?

Thanks - looking at your Storm vornwend shows what possibilities await. -
Here goes with the first few shots of my Storm I bought a month ago. Exterior is totally standard, interior too apart from a Kenwood single CD unit replacing the original Sony unit. I'm going to start small with mods - lupo wipers will be the first upgrade! climatronic wiring-Golf from May 01.pdfVR6 Storm 1.jpg[/attachment:2nrpzaii] 2.8l 24v Climatronic system.pdfVR6 Storm 2.jpg[/attachment:2nrpzaii] VR6 Storm 3.jpg[/attachment:2nrpzaii]
