Ok, I little update from my install. As some of you know I had a little colour bleed through on the red sector (see my post a few pages back), Steve true to his word sent me a new set in the post a few days later. So I thought I'd power up the new and old EL sheets on the bench to see if I could see what the problem was. This was my problem, I little bit of bleed through of the green into the red sector. This is the old sheet on the bench, as you can see the sectors are slightly off centre and the green is very close to the centre hole, hence the bleed through. This is the new replacement Steve sent me... perfectly central. So I fitted the new sheet and was 99% happy with it, however as I have the extra gauges I just wanted the heater slightly brighter to match the gauges, also my stereo is quite bright even on it's lowest night time setting. To get the heater brighter I simply removed the white 'sticker' coating on the front... TBH it would have been fine before and is 100% better than the OE setup but I just thought I'd try and get it just right for my setup. And here is the result.. no bleed through. And a perfect match with the gauges. Absolutely chuffed to bits with the results, can't thank Steve enough, good bit of kit well researched and put together, also he sorted out a minor problem quickly with no hassle... two thumbs good from me. Managed to a few pics, sorry they are not that good but its hard taking pics in the dark...lol They are not actually this bright but you get an idea how good they are. This is a better idea of the brightness TBH it's 100% better than before, the colour match and brightness levels are spot on, my only slight criticism is a small amount of green bleed through on the edge of the red. Rog.
