    changed a fuse so the main beam would work :)

    do you have a modified wireing harness,maybe the fuse is suspect as Ive just had to change mine,it looked ok but wasnt. maybe the vibration from the motor running is causeing a contact/non contact. chubbz

    So Techheads would it be an easy transplant ? cheapo 16 valver and drop in a 6 speed pd engine I wonder if it would make it heave on the front.......... :?

    I thought of going one size bigger because of the tightchested heart attack I had when I went to price 4 michelin energys for the 16 valver. The tyre boys explained that the next size up ws far more common and therefore cheaper. Chubbz

    Im trying to think of the white mk1 jettas you used to get on a 'B' or 'C' registration they were GTI's but cant remember anymore becuase of 'senior moments' they were white with a kinda blue stripe down the middle of them similar in style to F+F one,but they were ex factory. £1600 for sure would buy you a few laughs :-P

    But would it go in a C ? (A decent Diesel ) I know everyone goes on about 1.8T etc but the economy and speed would be a good trade off for me. :D

    We Use LRP just because of so many saying it would pink with unleaded,Ive just shouted at the squaw to try unleaded and the answer was, 'whots pinking mean' summit to do with Mr blobby I suspect :wink:

    Im 35 LOL robbo,I had a Fiesta 1.1 ghia to get the no claims started ( with a big webber on it ) modding was so easy then ! by 21 was getting the Md's car off the ground on the way into work ( worked at ford dealers and he had cossies ) I think Ive had about 20 odd cars shortest Ive owned was for two days probably because it was a cortina estate ..No Cred there ! LOL Best car.. I think was a Mk1 Rs Turbo :twisted:

    How much are these cars your talking about ? I see lizzies point as I feel the same when I see the wife driving 'her' corrado, she loves how it goes,looks and handles. we only have a 16 valve, but,we all look forward wondering what the next best car will be and I have spoken to her at length about what to buy next and tbh we dont have a large budget and we are struggling with whats left out there ! :roll:

    Somthing like tyreweld, I'm not sure if its the same thing,but they use somthing like that when they install gas conversions as they normally use a 'do-nut' tank installed into the sparewheel well. it sure saves space and is non intrusive,the space savers are normally limited to 50 mph/kmh ? As for £15 notes at the Breakers....well done the gits up here are as bad as the stealers.. chubbz :idea:

    thats some heavily weighted insurance premiums the thing is with the modd'ed cars are they really going to reshell a corrado if it requires one ? even if they can get one they will probably write it off. our 16 valver costs £260 per anum via norwich union chubbz

    Roddy/VR6 Storm sorted out two new vw badges for me,he gave the wife one :mrgreen: and managed to get another through to Inverness without using the royal mail ,then we sent him a cheque,they were his terms just to make sure we were happy,100% and I'd Buy again probably his Storm :wink: Thanks again Roy 'chubbybrown' 16v Nugget yellow 48k 8)
