Im just jealous you live in America :mrgreen: shitty gas milage just isnt a worry over there as its about 60p a gallon I had a 3.2 litre car over there for a fortnight and was cheaper to run for a fortnight than driving a fiesta diesel to Glasgow and back to Inverness,no wonder they moan about out fuel prices.... and yes it was treated like a press car !!

Well our 16 valver has 'poverty' spec it is a 1989 car. it is one of the first in the country but not a 'press car' :wink: It has no electric sunroof or Electric windows,less to go wrong I think. and I can confirm that it does have electric mirrors that are heated,it also has the windscreen washer nozzle heaters too. I consider poverty spec to be more rare as its over looked therefore sought after people like me who search for low milers with Full vw service history ! The wifes car has 51k on it and was serviced and brake service too at a vw dealership every 2k until it came into our driveway at 45k, all I can say is that Im not that loaded so it gets its vw inspection once a year along with specialist treatment when needed.

I'd be surprised if you can find one at aucton and.... things are usually in the auction for one reason :wink:

I reckon them vents are from an R.S.Turbo mk2 and theres a really feeble copy of that corrado for sale on the German Ebay in red its frickin shokin :cry:

the indicator pops out from between the foglight and the indicator itself, its on a spring of sorts. Then you will see how to remove the foglight,I hope thats english enough for you. I sort of press from between foglight and indicator towards outer side of car and try and pull it out. mines a 1989 so I would think yours could be the same. chubbles :wink:

I used clay bar and was so surprised about how much crap it lifted off,so much so the clay bar is knacked. went over it with the quick buff and more gold so pleased with it,I done the bike today before its mot I also bought the pink car wash stuffy,it smells like bubble gum as you wash it. How big a hammer have you used :?: take a sledge hammer and bash the tyre thats how the tyre fitters remove our almost welded on alloy wheels failing that use a bottle jack between the rear arch and the wheel.
