Looking real nice, loving the wheels on the 16v

Watched Mesrine part 1 and 2. Was very good, fantastic gangster film, don't even notice it's subtitled. 8/10

Well they're 160 standard so with the chip, pulley and exhaust system maybe an extra 20bhp? Stage 4 charger and fmic would probably see you closer to 200. Have you done a boost check to see what psi your charger is putting out?

Sounds gd! Let us know what the decats like. Thinking of getting one for my car but heard they can sound a but rattly.

M reg Green VR6 at Cribbs Causeway, gave you a wave

The fuel pump relay is number 12 and should be the bottom right relay on the fuse board. Not sure about your problem but could be worth changing the relay as it'll be cheap

I would be interested in the jetex system when you come to sell it

I'd like to lower it on coilovers, but would have to change the splitter for a 50mm one so I can get over the giant speed bumps at work! Borbet A's would be nice in the future but need money for mechanicals at the monent -
Hi all Had this about a month now, its my first one, and loving it. Fairly standard atm, but got plans for it. Desperately needs a supercharger rebuild soon, then its time for a custom supercharger outlet to go with my FMIC i've purchased. Got a few little problems but gives me something to work on. Had a quick clean this moring but could do with a proper polish and wax.

Got this, I can't make head or tail of it but maybe some use to you? It's listed as Aug 1990 onwards
-
thanks for that, helped a lot. Now for some metal!
-
Well parts will come to about £20 so its just £125 for labour. Not sure how long they take to change, but 2 1/2 hours at £50 per hour sounds reasonable

Anybody? Heres what i'm talking about: Got the CAD model all drawn up just need some real dimensions
-
Wow that looks amazing, wish I had the spare cash to do this!
-
I'd check all the boost pipes for leaks, or see if any have blown off. check the jubilee clips are tight etc
-
The interior boot light is known to stay on even with the boot shut and keys out, as the boot switch can leak current with age. Try getting a multimeter out and measure the current draw of the battery with keys out etc, then start pulling fuses until the current draw drops. Got this currently on my G60, found out the drain is on fuse circuit 21 so could be interioir lights, ciggy lighter or spoiler adjustment. Gotta check that out soon!

Hi Looking at making my own supercharger outlet (a la BBM) but not sure what size the outlet diameter is before it gets reduced to 63mm, anybody got any ideas? Cheers Dom

Autodata have the PG engine used in the golf G60 (assuming they are the same??) as interfering. See here: http://car.sc0rian.com/software/Timing% ... _90-91.pdf HTH Dom

Thanks for the advice guys. I'll probably buy the kit soon and attempt a rebuild at some point. I'll try and do a build log on it with some piccies, assuming it is a success! Good point about the freeze and heat, I had heard to heat the casing but a bit of liquid nitrogen on the bearing should ease things up a bit I would have thought.
-
I've considered all those things. g-werks is too far for me to travel, so am going to have to remove the charger myself anyway. I've got all the equipment at work to clean, blast and port the charger, its just whether I can do a gd job on the bearings and seals.

Yup real life sucks. Money is so tight here im contemplating rebuilding the carger myself with a kit.........

Euro should have one, depends if you need genuine VAG item though
