I saw this on another forum and it really took me back to my childhood. I was born in 1969 so the 70's and 80's was exactly the time I was growing up. I remember every one of the images in the video and it's quite poignant and sad looking back at so many years past. As a complete contrast my kids have an iPad each and their lives are completely different to my childhood in so many ways. I work with someone only a few months older than me so our childhoods were very similar and we are always talking about times past and how different our early years were compared to the new graduates that have recently started.

Welcome to the forum :) -
That's a bummer :( Hopefully you can get it sorted.

^^ That looks fantastic.

Splitter collected. The sound of a Corrado pulling up outside the house is so distinctive :)

Sorry don't have one for sale but what you're looking for is the Bentley manual which covers all models (left hand drive).

I'll take the lupo conversion. Also very interested in the headlight protectors but would like to see some pictures of the broken clip. Is it visible once fitted? -
Embarrassing :(

Moar pics needed

Yep, pm me your details and I'll try to get it in the post one day this week.

Sorry for the delay. Found it. The hole is slightly off centre and it appears that the "collar" that's been inserted may be removable (there is a nut on the back). I can try removing it for you tomorrow if you'd like. I also have the original LED if needed (no idea if it works). If interested I'm in postcode KT10 so just down the A3. Or I could pop it in the post one day next week but can't guarantee when.

If no-one comes back to you beforehand I'll try to get some tomorrow. I have a spare in the garage loft so could get any measurements or pictures you need. Which measurements are you looking for?

Some lovely cars there red arrow.

Ok, here's a picture of the split. The rest of the splitter is in reasonable condition but obviously used. I've had interest from both Seagei and Goozie. As Seagei expressed interest first then I'll give him first refusal with Goozie second. If both fall through then I'll revisit postage options for Redborbet. Seagei - Please let me know if you're still interested.

Jimmy Savile? -
No problem. I'll take a look later anyway just in case the others fall through (don't want any money for it). For info if you take a look at the blank on the right hand side it's actually different to the one in the centre console. It will fit just fine but they aren't the same.

I think I've also got one with a red alarm LED in it somewhere. I guess they could put the new alarm LED in that hole again. If interested let me know and I'll go searching through my various stashes (may have binned it, although I usually keep stuff).

True. The Corrado is a bit in limbo right now. It's moving from being a cheap-to-buy performance car, to one mostly owned as a second car by enthusiasts. It's a little like the mk1 and mk2 Golfs; people don't tend to own those as a daily. And right now the economy won't support a lot of people having luxuries like this. I'm glad I bought mine (non-Storm) because at least I have owned one before they literally disappear from the roads. It's a great time to pick one up for a bargain, have fun for a few years and sell on again. If they fall further in price then you still haven't lost much money - there's not much value to lose now! Having said that, I'm considering a bit of a life downgrade right now so not sure how long I'll keep it.

I don't mind trying to post but I asked as the post office and they said it would probably be too tall for them. I don't think an independant courier would be feasible as I don't know which days I'd be at home for them to collect. I'll revisit this option if no-one local wants it. I'll get some at the weekend.

From memory to remove the door cards: * Pop off the inner handle pull trim and unscrew the two large inset screws. * Slide off the square trim around the handle itself (either forward or back - can't remember). * Pull out the large plastic handle surround (that has the mirror switches on late cars - unplug this) * There is a single screw in the middle of the door which has now been exposed by the removal of the above trim. Undo this. * Remove the speaker grill and unscrew the speaker. Remove it and you will see a screw hidden behind it. A lot of people miss this one. This screw isn't usually present on Audioscape pods but is there for standard pods. * Prise out the window switches and disconnect them. * Unscrew the small screws on the front and back edges of the doorcard. These screw into clips which in turn 'pop' into the door (you just need to unscrew the card from them). From memory there are two on the front ende by the pillar and two on the rear edge. You will need a very short stubby phillips screwdriver to reach the front screws by the pillar. There are no screws underneath as the card just rests on the bottom clips * Not essential but removing the pillar triangle also helps - this just pops off. * Unscrew the plastic door lock pin on the top edge by the windor. * The doorcard should now gently prise off.
