Welcome. Looking good :)

I will take a look at how much it would cost for postage and packing and let you know. Although if anyone local wants it then I would prefer that. I will get back to you.

I keep leaving my lights on,!!! Help me Out.
Portent replied to Michael'durham''s topic in ICE 'n' Secure
This is a good example of how things change over the years. Back in the 90's and earlier everyone just remembered to turn their lights off. Nowadays we need a buzzer to remind us and in newer cars such as my mk6 I never even touch the headlight switch as it's set to auto 100% of the time. Which is why I love owning an older car too... back to basics :) -
I've replaced my splitter and my old one is free to a good home. It has a big crack on the drivers side corner so I doubt anyone wants it. But I thought I'd offer it here before I bin it. Collection only from KT10 postcode or I could meet within a reasonable distance. Pictures available in the unlikely event someone actually wants it :)

Thanks. I'll take it and either keep as a spare or replace the original. I've sent funds. -
SOLD 4 Bar Fuel Pressure Regulator Genuine VW VR6
Portent replied to 4DUST's topic in Parts for Sale
A quick google shows the standard FPR is 3 bar? Do you know if this 4 bar can be used as a direct replacement and if so then what's the advantage? Assuming it can then I will take it if you can do insured delivery for that price. -

I too am a member of the flat battery club resulting from leaving the lights on  -
Hope it's not as bad as it looks. I don't suppose you bought that from somewhere just outside London?

Also for sale on this forum: http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?79631-Graphite-Metallic-%28Grey%29a-1-8-16v-for-%A31500-in-Birmingham

That looks nice.

45k Storm? Thread has potential :)

That looks in very good condition from the photos (need to see it closer to really judge). I'm not sure I'd pay that much for it and of course the dealer has added their premium on top. But looks an interesting prospect for someone looking for a valver. But personally I do think they are the worst standard wheels on a Corrado so changing them would be beneficial.

Love this colour so much :) Yay, Karl's still around. Your profile pic always makes me smile :)

Portent replied to daves16v's topic in Suppliers Forum
Kits arrived safely. They look great. Thank you. I've left feedback in the good sellers thread :thumbleft: -
Bought the slam panel screws from dave16v. Well packaged, look great. Thanks.

Do the VW Heritage ones fit a Corrado? They are listed as Golf parts. I keep meaning to change mine and am assuming the Heritage ones are less likely to rust?
-
Just turn the sidelights on?

The regulations changed early last year. If the car left the factory with a cat then it should be failed in the MOT if one is not present: http://www.motester.co.uk/mot-general-information/mot-information-for-motorists/mot-test-checks-list-continued

There's one for sale here: http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?53192-New-Storm/page11

Just remembered another part of my conversation with Nigel Bridgeton. Apparently it's due to his hatred of leather being cold that the Corrado and all VW's from that time onwards had heated seats as mandatory if leather was fitted.
