  1. A key question would be whether there is any damage to the boot floor. It has clearly taken a bump to the rear so this is a possibility.
  2. Oh arse. Quite fancied these. If the sale falls through for any reason I'm interested and can collect.
  3. That looks great. What did you use to stick it on?
  4. I'm guessing it's pearl green.
  5. Didn't mean to offend about the colour but some people don't like that shade of green or the grey interior. It's personal preference of course. I like green myself. Yes I love the wheels. But the dents would put me off if it was such a long way to travel. EDIT: Found a couple of other issues on a second look: Cracked front splitter (drivers side corner and also at the front passenger side) and snapped drivers seat tilt handle. Can't see the passenger tilt handle but as the passenger seat belt doesn't appear to be hooked around the seat it's possible that one is missing too.
  6. Sorry don't know about the car or dealer. But it doesn't look the best example for an 800 mile round. Not a desirable colour. The seats look in poor condition (quite ripped drivers side bolster), lots of stone chips and a dent in the bonnet and the rear offside has taken a bump at the back (warped rear bumper and ripples on the rear area by the badge). There's a possible split in the dash just below and left of the head unit too, although that could just be a trick of the light. From the pics and a quick look around streetview it seems to be a small private trader too so I doubt there would be much in the way of support if you have problems. What is it about this particular one that makes you want an 800 mile round trip?
  7. Also worth noting that my gearchange improved a lot after I replaced all 3 of my tired old engine mounts.
  8. As long a you know the password for the email address that your other sites were registered to then you should be able to recover them if you miss any.
  9. Welcome. The nose of an e30 is one of the iconic looks of cars from that era. Love them.
  10. Not another one :( I'd have a mk5 E30 over a LCR though. It already has the k04 and uprated engine internals. I'm loving my mk6 gti as a daily but honestly the engines lack soul.
  11. Sad times. You've still got the blue one though?
  12. What are the differences? I thought they were just early/late? I'm probably totally wrong though :D
  13. I had a fireworks party and bonfire in my garden for the kids. Now sinking a few glasses of cheap whiskey before I wander off to bed.
  14. Yes Ive heard quite frequently that non oem ones don't last more than a few years unfortunately :(
  15. At least you can generally still buy most old parts from bmw. Try that with vw and Corrado parts ;) Yes go for a vr. Yes get an uprated headlight loom.
  16. It can only be a few things: A leaking pipe - try leaving some carboard or paper under the car and look for signs of drips. Also check pipes for any residue. Head gasket - which would explain excessive white vapour - any mayo under the oil cap? Heater matrix - the windows would probably be covered in condensation inside each morning.
  17. For a coupe the Corrado is surprisingly roomy in the back. My 6 year old and 8 year old fit comfortably. But as mentioned above it will be the boot space that is the issue. You can certainly get by with a Corrado but there would be better cars for a family.

    Kwik fit Rant

I used them for four new tyres on my old 4mo and they were outrageously expensive compared to other local companies until I laughed at them with a waiting room full of other customers and they price matched.
  19. I bought one from eurocarparts last year but swapped it back for my oem one when I realised the original wasn't faulty. It is slightly louder than OEM but only a little.
  20. It's probably worth lubricating it. It's likely that the fuse had blown as the motor was under stress.
