I've finally managed to acquire some Audioscape pods so need to source some speakers for them. I really know nothing about car audio although talking to Abdul it seems the head unit in the car is quite good (Pioneer P88RS). I don't even know what size speakers I need. I've measured the inside of the pods and it looks like there is a touch over 6.5 inches space in there. But does that mean I need 6.5" speakers? Is that how they are measured? As you can see, I know very little about audio so any advice would be very much appreciated. Thanks.

That picture really tells a story about the different lives the two cars have had. At one time both of them would have had a proud buyer being handed the brand new keys by a salesman. Now one is still being kept alive but the other has decayed to the point of being stripped and left at the roadside. EDIT: Roof trim still looks like it's there. Also, is the rear bumper any good?

Discovered a few days ago that neither key opens the passenger door lock. I guess I should have found that when I bought it last year. New handle or retumbling required. Will add it to the list.

Sorry if this is a silly question but I assume when people talk about TPS they mean www.thetradepartsspecialists.co.uk? Their website seems to indicate they only sell to the trade. So do you guys just make up a fake company name when registering or do you just rock up to the counter no questions asked?

He's totally car mad. Every time I leave the door open he's in the drivers seat. The grills probably sity flush because there aren't any speakers in them yet. Good idea about the badges. I do prefer the black but every now and then I see a picture of silver and get tempted to swap back. Thanks. It still has a lot of rough edges and I look at other cars and think "I wish mine was as good as theirs". I think it's a bit like cooking; it always tastes better when someone else has cooked it :)

Thanks. The car has apparently had a replacement in the past but I guess that may have been an Ebay special.

A horrible rumbling started today on all fan settings. It doesn't seem to get worse with the fan speed and sounds like it is Coming from behind the glove box where I gather the motor is. Can you still get the motors? How many of my children will I have to sacrifice to get one? How bad a job is it to replace? Fan still works fine so will just turn the music up for now until I get a replacement :)
