  1. Bought this from KUR2Y but never fitted. His thread is here... http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?t=41616 £50 posted anyone?
  2. As the title suggests, I'm selling my Ultra Violet Recaro's. I wasn't sure what to price these at but after some good feedback and some research I'm going to sell them at £1000 for the set. I am not interested in splitting fronts and backs. These are in amazing condition! There is very slight wear on the drivers bolster, a small imperfection on the drivers side base and a stain on the bottom rear of the drivers seat. I have provided a YouTube link that I took yesterday which shows this. Even has the original warning triangle! :D I would prefer collection from Dorset but could possibly arrange delivery on a pallet. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ho-B5ORL_DU
  3. Cheers for your feedback lads, I think I'll price them at £1000 and see if there are any takers :)
  4. £1500 would put me close to being even, I'll listen to offers on that :D
  5. B12's provisionally sold to clumpy :) Thanks for your interest lads but I would prefer to sell everything else together. If there is no interest in that then I will look into selling separately but I'll give it a bit of time first. Cheers
  6. What's the going rate on these at the moment? I have the full set but the rears are packed away, I will unpack if there is any interest for pictures. Here is a video I made earlier :D Watch as my hand gently caresses... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ho-B5ORL_DU
  7. Unfortunately, I have come to the end of my journey with the Corrado :( Among other bodywork issues, rust has taken over the rear arches and around the fuel cap. I have been looking for a rear quarter for as long as I remember and I'm not willing to pay £700 that VW Heritage are asking. I have looked into buying a shell and breakers that I could cut the rear quarter out of but none of these options are financially viable. Especially now I am looking into mortgages. I have been collecting parts to restore the car and I am now looking at selling them. I am hoping to sell everything to the one buyer, someone who can take over from where I left off and make a Corrado out there VERY VERY happy :) I'm not keen on selling individual parts really. I have included ETKA diagrams. For my own benefit, I colour coded each diagram and colour coded and numbered the corresponding part. Every part is either marked in this way, has its part number on it or both. I also researched the majority of torque settings which are all noted on the part too. I have circled in red the parts that I have, they are all listed below. All these parts are NEW and genuine VW unless specified. BILSTEIN B12 PRO KIT SUSPENSION. SOLD!! I bought all of this last year and in total it cost me over £2000. I'd like to see as much of that back as possible but I am open to offers. Any questions are welcome, I'll try to answer them :)
  8. As you'll see from the pictures below, rust is eating away at my rear quarter and both rear arches. Anyone breaking with decent rear quarters or anyone know anywhere that are supplying or making them?
  9. Pierburg or VDO mate? I have a Pierburg sender with my faulty pump.
  10. Cheers for the info Mawrick and nice waaaan VAG-hag. The sender is £76 and the pump cost me £195... OUCH!! Now I'm in two minds whether to get a refund on the VDO pump and hope this Pierburg one lasts or whether to pay the £76 and keep the pump just in case. Dayum the Corrado eats money fast!!! :D
  11. I've bought the second hand Pierburg pump from VAG-hag to get me back on the road for now. The VDO senders were made obsolete in November 2011 I've been told by VW and TPS. VW told me they can't get hold of them but TPS have just given me a ring to say that they've found a couple in stock. So I've ordered one, my thinking being that if and when this pump gives up the ghost I'll have a VDO set up ready to go in without having to worry about finding another Pierburg replacement. Can anyone confirm if there will be any compatibility issues with installing the VDO pump in my car if it was fitted with a Pierburg originally? Probably a stupid question but fuel pressure for example or the top bit that I've posted a picture of above? Or is it a straight swap as long as I have the correct sender fitted? Any performance advantages with the VDO etc. Don't really know much about this so I'd like to be 100% sure I'm going the right way about it. Cheers :D
  12. DEAL!! Will pay whatever the fastest possible delivery is!! Lemme know and I'll Paypal you asap. Cheers mate :D
  13. Brilliant, that would save the hassle if it were to go again. I'll phone VW tomorrow, you know if (technical term) the top bit is compatible with both models or I'd have to source one of those too?
  14. Ahhhh I seeee!! What a ball ache :( Thanks for the info mate. Forgive me if I sound stupid here, but is there any way of buying a new sender float thing and using this pump? If not, where am I likely to find a pierberg pump if VW have stopped supplying them? I'm liking the idea of zip tying it as it gets me on the road right now, but I wouldn't be too happy long term :-/
  15. I have a 1994 VR6. I originally ordered a Bosch fuel pump but when it arrived, the fitting was completely different so I returned it and ordered a genuine one from VW. Now this one doesn't seem to fit either and I've been without a car for 2 weeks waiting on pumps!! The float doesn't fit into the new pump body. Can someone tell me whats going on, I ordered this through TPS using my reg. Old pump. New pump
  16. I'd like to add my name to the list please, thanks :D
  17. Cheers for the heads up Jamie© and well found robrado974, just saved me £40! You're confident in the quality of this one then I assume? I'll get she ordered today :D Cheers for your help.
  18. Could someone please recommend the best fuel pump for a 1994 VR6. The part number on my pump is 535919051A and has a 4 pin connection. I've been quoted about £180 from VW, the Bosch on Euro Car Parts is £160 and there's another for £90. I've been reading older threads which mention upgraded fuel pumps, but these posts are from 2006. I'm desperate to get this sorted asap as I have a lot planned this weekend!! But I don't want to panic buy something that is either too expensive or of inferior quality. Any advice would be much appreciated, cheers.
  19. You should move to Bournemouth mate! I just paid £300 for my VR6, fully comp. I'm 26 with 7 years no claims. That was with Admiral, Adrian Flux wanted £470... They were very pleased to tell me that my premium was, I quote "only £10 more expensive than last year". They wouldn't match Admiral so I jumped ship :D
  20. Yeah I thought the bush was solid and the bar had been pushed through it so was looking at how to remove the bloody bar!! Can you tell I'm a 'noob'! Haha, getting there slowly :D Cheers enzo, I'll add the part to my list :D
  21. Oh really?? DOH! Haha :-P Thanks mate, i didn't realise it came away like that. Bloody numpty :-)
  22. Alright peoples, I've collected a lot of parts ready for shot blasting and powder coating. I've noticed this bushing on the rear beam and I'm thinking it'll just melt in their oven. I can't work out if it can be removed in any way and I know a lot of people have powder coated these before so if anyone could help, it'll be much appreciated.
  23. I bought a buzzer from here a few years back, really easy to install and works a treat. I've been searching for the thread but can't find it anywhere, sorry mate!
  24. Haha! Yeah maybe I'll stick some candles in em! Thinkin 25-30mm :D
