Rampage - 8/10 ... Dark movie, twisted kid, great viewing!!
-
Thanks mate! Going to pester Oilman!!
-
I'm sure this has been covered many times before, I'm servicing the VR6 next week and wanted to start putting in real premium stuff ... Names, makes, links and anything else helpful in anyway is much appreciated, cheers!
-
Try watching this without cutting yourself for every minute you wasted watching it!! Probably the worst film I have ever seen!!
-
You talking about the film or the shimmery blue boy?!
-
I'm guessing you typed the wrong film title next to your score ... That's the only way your comment makes sense!
-

Adrian Flux was cheapest for me, they were very helpful ... protect every mod like for like too so it was a no brainer for me :)

Knocking when pulling away or stopping ...
UseOnceDestroy replied to UseOnceDestroy's topic in Drivetrain
Cheers lads, will have a look at those possibilities next ... thats what I love about Corrado's ... there is always something broken to spend your money on ... -
I've been getting a weird knocking or 'clunk' if you like when I pull away or break to a stop ... I put it up on a ramp and checked out the suspension on the front end as this is where it was coming from, gave the drivers side wheel a bit of movement and a lot of creaking and knocking came about, so I assumed this was my problem. I fitted some coilovers and new top mounts and bearings today, thinking this would solve the problem ... bollocks, it hasn't. Any ideas of what to look at next? Cheers

The cat he killed at the beginning clearly meowed it's position and waited for him to strike, his in built radar helped him shoot down an army, close combat was controlled by fairies using a highly technical remote control ... similar to that of Robot Wars and his ability to hide the bible in the back of a TV in a strangers house ... well, now that one has got me thinking!
-
I thought this film was good ... until the ending ... why did they throw that in? What a stupid 'twist', I just kept thinking back to parts of the film where being blind would've stumped Denzel ... obviously his fighting skills would be slightly impaired, but the one that I kept thinking back to, was him feeding the mouse ... He looked at the mouse, talked to it and offered it cheese! ... that is one talented blind man!! Inception 10/10 ... definitely in my top 5 of all time, and for those who HAVE seen it ... read this ... if you haven't, please don't (SPOILER) ... http://chud.com/articles/articles/24477 ... Page1.html The Losers 8/10 ... American cheese at times but an awesome film Ninja Assassin 7/10 ... the gore and fight scenes are insane!

[youtube:3l1qo54b]O9beA88_66c[/youtube:3l1qo54b] This song is incredible ... Takes a little while to get into it but give it a chance, when it gets there ... wow

I've been looking at new rims and I'm unsure of sizes. I want 8-9's on the rear, which means pulling the arches ... But what size is best for the front. I recall reading that if you go too wide on the front, it affects the steering badly ... Is his true? I've seen some style 5's that are all 8.5, just worried about killing the handling.

Collected, you can have em for about £30 i guess? ... Delivered I have no idea!
-
i got some coming off soon, think they're 40mm drop with uprated shocks ... will have to double check ... you can have them for cheap mate
-
Cheers for everyones opinions, I think I'm leaning in the direction of the R32 bushes front and OEM for the rest ... Is there a specific model/year I need for the R32 bushes?
-
I've got a dead wishbone bush and one of my front mounts has also reached the end ... I thought while I'm at it and I've got my suspension off ... I'm going to replace every single bush and mount there is ... front and rears. I've been guided in the direction of polyurethane bushes ... I'm not sure what exactly I'm looking for, whether there is a better brand, make model etc ... I've been searching ebay, I've found a few kits ... Front - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VW-Golf-MK3-8v-16 ... 5ad720f584 Then theres this one for double! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VW-CORRADO-1989-1 ... 439f87fd82 And the rears - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VW-Golf-MK3-8v-16 ... 414cfd2f25 or again the more expensive ... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VW-CORRADO-1989-1 ... 439f87fd95 Would these two kits cover everything? Could anyone recommend a kit for me? Any help is much appreciated :D
-
Have a look at my thread mate, viewtopic.php?f=11&t=90366 ... I've had the washers removed and placed under the lip of the bonnet, work the same as they did on the bonnet ... if its done right! Side repeaters I had removed and cut into the bumper American stylee ... I think they look awesome, such an easy mod but very effective. And obviously the Audi handles too, good luck with it mate ... :D

NEW CORRADO FORUM INSURANCE SCHEME VIA CHRIS KNOTT INSURANCE
UseOnceDestroy replied to ChrisKnottIns's topic in Insurance
Took my insurance out with Adrian Flux in the end, a lot cheaper and in my opinion more efficient. £800 fully comp! I am able to drive any car as third party (and I'm under 25), I have injury & windscreen cover, they offer a lost keys reward scheme, they protect any modification declared for a like for like ... Can't ask for much more. -

NEW CORRADO FORUM INSURANCE SCHEME VIA CHRIS KNOTT INSURANCE
UseOnceDestroy replied to ChrisKnottIns's topic in Insurance
Just phoned for a quote ... I am 23 with 4 years no claims ... I was told that because I am under 25 years of age, I am unable to insure my car fully comp!! I inquired about 3rd party ... and I was quoted over £1000!! What's gone wrong?! I thought this was supposed to be cheaper car insurance for Corrado owners?!! -
