Could you not fit the electric motors and stuff , must have the space for them to fit ?

No its very easy to do , i have done it twice now , simple as removing bolts and screws and it comes out . There are plastic plugs on the rear door cards that can get damaged so once you have the screws out remove as carefully as you can , same goes for replacing it lining them up with the holes in the bodywork . If you start at the top a,b c pillars sunroof switch and the like and work down it will be fine , these have lugs on too so be gentle . Take your time you know what its like you try to remove one thing only to find you have to take something else off first , to get at it . Have a look at what me and a few others have done with regards to leaving some of the black trim in [ if you have black that is ] . I found it a bit much to have everything in cream . Rob

Also try using the search on here . As above with plugs , check dizzy and rota arm also , signs of wear etc

Xmas food shop out the way , i spoke to robbie r32 and he sugested a little drive in our vr's , so i jump in mine , get to the lights ......and she stalls ....refuses to start . Did the usual checks , nothing , call AA then rob , he says he is on his way . AA man comes out takes a spark lead out finds and earth n says , good spark try again , she decides to fire with no further problems . Rob then rings me and says ,i started mine and shut the door and now its locked itself with engine running !. Rob rings matt vr , who still had a set of spare keys , gets to robs and opens the door . I eventually get to robs and we did get the bonnet release cable fitted , but no time left for a drive , thats corrados for you , still theres always another day .

Some nice work going on here , quick blasts on the throttle will usually tell any movement in the mounts , im sure santa wont mind if you open boxes early !

If you are going to get them to do it , make sure you tell them that it comes in four seperate peices . The lack of communication between office and fitter is crap ! , i had mine fitted after respray and they tried to fit a standard moulding to it . it was a right state , when i got to the car the fitter said i used what was to hand !. All fitters will tell you they are a pain to do , they will proberbly send an old school guy who has done one before , dont worry ,as long as you stress the moulding situation to them it will be ok . Also worth asking for fitters mobile no , to make sure he has the right bits before hand . Yes they provide mouldings for you , forgot to add that .Rob

Hi mate , you said there was some movement ? .Have you checked the bolts / screws , that hold the position of the sunroof ,mabey if they are a tad loose it is causing a gap just big enough to cause a leak ? just a thought . I hate the things lol ! took me ages to get mine right , now its being a pain sliding and you can hear air rushing at speed . Rob

I can recomend a company not far from you if you dont have anyone in mind , for the paint job ,when you have saved some pennies !!.They did mine after hours and weekends and in between jobs , so the vat went out the window and they all got a bonus .Rob

Know that sorn feeling only to well !, car is looking nice though , need to start collecting bits for my underside to .Its something i have said i will do for about two years now lol.
