Hope i havent or wont cause any problems as it was me who said to download it , but its advertised on our forum page ?, only had a quick look at it , have they robbed it from bentley and just changed words and pics around so its not the same ?. Obviously they cant do the same because of copy rights .

Just noticed the one advertising on our forum £9.99 , bit of a pain having to print off the pages when you need now n then , but once you have down loaded it at least you have it .

I have one fitted to the vr , with a silencer , lovely sound , i realise its a different engine but they do sound nice , as above nobody wants a droning exhaust , we will leave that to the saxos .

I would look at the starter motor first . Can you hear that clicking ,as if it wants to work but cant ? .Use the handle of a hammer and give it a knock or rock the car forwards in gear , sometimes they get stuck . With the Ignition switch, sometimes if you wiggle the key when trying to start up it will start if its on its way out .Also look at battery connections .Try these first . The search will help as well ,theres something in there about old switch plugs and new ones , one black and one white ? one is new and one old ,so you know if its been changed . Rob

Have always thought and been told the vr is a strong and reliable engine , Not being an expert but looking at engine sizes , isnt it a lot of strain on a g60 to mod it that too much ?

Not for the rado but for my transporter . I thought the pas pump was on its way out or one of the pipes as its loosing fluid and its a pig to drive . Phoned tps, they want [with discount] £243.34 for the pump , £244.48 for the hoses !. I then went down to see my mechanic who does the things i cant do , he said the good news is its not the pump or the hoses , the bad news is its the rack and thats even more expensive , back on the blower to tps and it came in at £610.00 !!.whats it made from platinum ? phoned gsf and they want £175.00 , sorry but being self employed and work being as it is atm i cannot spend that sort of dough on my van . That price is as long as they have the old rack , a reconditioned part will last me a fair amount of time i would have thought ?

Hi red , you can have it , no charge , nobody wants a switch with a crack in it ,its tiny though , but it will sort you out until a new one is available , just bung us a bit for pnp .Rob

Quick question for you . If a caliper [piston ] got stuck on would it free itself or would it just keep binding ?The reason i ask is , i was out with the mrs the other day and when i went to lock the car we noticed smoke coming from the drivers side rear brake . We let it cool down and it was fine on the way home . I am having work done on the house atm and was late for work ,didnt have time to move the car , the chippy had no choice and had to cut wood on the drive . the car did have saw dust on the brakes n stuff , so am i right in thinking it got hot and started to burn and it was not the caliper that was stuck ?. Bit long winded i know , sorry ! Rob

Looks to me as though its snapped in half ? , they are only thin so not much to them .

It is screwed on with the same fixings as the front spoiler . Small screws with the metal clasps , [ like one piece of metal folded in half ] with a hole drilled in it .

Thought that was what it was from your description , so many have been lost , ripped off , never put back etc , yeah they are getting rare now ......... i need one too !
