  1. You can get the oem parts from the steelers . However they are around 65.00. I opted for the Bosch parts which were 46.00.
  2. The sunroof on nearly every Corrado leaks ......really?.
  3. A few hours away from the forum and I miss a sale post . Bummer I could have done with the fuse box clips .
  4. I widened the end , so it would release the lead .
  5. I bought the metal one off eBay Jon . Right pain in the arse to put the lead on , twist it and not pull the lead back off again !. Then I looked in the boot and found the oem plastic one that comes with the car doh !.
  6. Is anyone on here a a good at computers ?. My email is playing up . I can use it on my Mac which is fine . But its gone down on my Iphone . I cant remember my password , so i cant change it to up date on my phone . Im worried that soon i will click on the yahoo page on my Mac and it will say log in , which it does from time to time for security . If it does this im screwed . On both machines its asking for the pass word to the back up email [which is an ex mrs]so i cant access it .I cant change the password as you have to put in your password to do this . Ive rung Yahoo and they say its been hacked and they need 3 hours to sort it out and then a payment of 150.00 for six months for secuity , surely this cant be right ?. I just want to change the password so i can enter the new one ,which would then get me up and running on my phone again and if it asks me to log in at any point on my Mac i dont have to worry . Kind regards Rob
  7. Thanks chap . I cleaned the mess up yesterday as I finished work early. The bolts are 18mm, my mistake. I adjusted it so the wheel is now upright, but it will have to go in for proper alignment. I also ordered the JnR boot .
  8. I've never put anything on the threads Jon . They've always come out easy enough at servicing time . Some older cars used to have to have grease on the plug threads due to rusting, the Corrado does not suffer from rust on the head , so I see no reason to do this . Kind regards Rob
  9. I seem to have Miss placed my washers , the ones for the 17 mm bolts, that hold the hub to the suspension leg . Are these special?. I don't remember these coming off the car . Thanks Rob
  10. Where's the best place to order one from. Heritage don't have them apparently. It's for a VR . I stupidly did not replace them when doing the underside. Ten miles and it's gone , chucked warm grease over all my new parts .
  11. I've never heard of this either .I did replace mine when I did the underside, I bought new to go with the new mounts . The front mount bolt was in excellent condition, I was surprised really. As said though I only renewed them as I wanted it all pristine.
  12. Evening chaps . I've now put my underside back together . One wheel was perfectly upright and true , the other was miles out. Am I right in thinking the camber is adjusted by the two nuts and bolts on the suspension where the hub bolts to ?. Kind regards Rob
  13. I think you're both right . It's worth trying another ISV. Then a methodical check through the wiring.
  14. Thank you Martin and Delfinis . I will take a look at both of these . Great stuff chaps .
  15. How much did they set you back Easy ?. I've forgotten your name lol .
  16. Well I've had the car taxed for two days since the underside refurb . I went out for my first drive today and the passenger calliper is sticking , it stank to high heaven!and was red hot . I knew it was on it's way out last year . What are your recommendations for places to by new calipers chaps ?. Kind regards Rob .
  17. Yes , the pump is in the boot . When you remove the door cards , you will see a small white pump , this has metal rods connected to it and the onto the door locks . I'm not sure which fuse is for the central locking . It's these connections and rods you need to be checking for leaks and breakages .
  18. I would check the fuses and check all connections to the locks . Also check the tubes , you may have a leak .
  19. This could be the answer to the squeaky noise in the boot that I have. Just one of those parts that seem to get lost somehow.
