Lovely Tom. How do you find it compared to the old Corrado (appreciate it's been a long time since you drove one though!)
-
Getting mine done this weekend by DG Autotech... Will see who they use if you can wait till then? :-).
-
Me too unfortunately. And for some reason going into the mail Inbox takes an age... like up to 30 seconds or so sometimes? Hope you manage to get to the 'bottom' of it Andi :)

Tail lights, the scuttle tray, and the dash under trays should be easy enough to pick up. A set of Recaro seats might be a bit more expensive than you realise as they quite desirable here ($1600 before you even ship them). The euro plate tub is still available brand new from Volkswagen via their Classic Parts scheme. Welcome to the forum :)

Aye - a picture paints a thousand words! :)

For additional (albeit small) weight saving will probably be able to switch to a single strut!

That'll explain how it kept the RS6 at bay :)

There's no sweeping under the carpet - I can assure you. The problem is that quite often folks don't bring problems like this to the attention of the moderators.. I only happened to browse into here out of coincidence and saw what was going on. Report people who don't sent items, we'll send them a message asking them to wake up / respond / send a refund or whatever.. if they don't we'll ban them from the forum. As BILLCOR says the For Sale section is a continual thorn in our side. We can only do so much to stop people from screwing other members. If you want payment protection, meet face to face or buy stuff with PayPal - there's not much more we can do.

This seems to be happening an increasing amount on here and it's ridiculously bad form. lamwagon - please get this rectified ASAP.

Red Corrado VR6 (L reg I think) parked in Kenilworth a few days ago - think it was Wednesday evening about 5.30pm? Had a colour coded rear number plate surround but otherwise looked pretty standard.

The thread is nearly a year old actually mate! Bumped for a price drop!

Very nice :) What model of BBS are they... not seen them on a Corrado before I don't think, but they look rather neat!
-
Heheh... Classic Green is quite forgiving from a bit of a distance and after a good polish. I share your pain in that up close mine is no looker either! :)
-
Be interested to know the reg plate when you get it.. I sold a blackberry 2.0 16v in Birmingham quite a few years back and have never seen any sign of it since despite it apparently still being on the road!

Arguably the best air filter for the Corrado is the BMC CDA but they're not cheap unfortunately (£150 new / £100 preowned).. wheels wise, well, that's really down to individual taste. I love the original wheels like the Speedlines, Solitudes and Brands Hatch personally :)

Very nice :) First purchase - lower suspension ;)

Blower motor just needs a new resistor pack (hopefully can get one from a breaker) Regarding the sunroof.. it sounds as though someone has attempted to 'repair' the sunroof motor on yours at some point. It seems that the motor has got some sort of intelligence in it, and it remembers what position it is / was in.. We attempted to repair the sunroof motor on my car last year, stripped it down, cleaned it, put it back together but found upon reassembly when I locked the car it would open the sunroof a fraction - we must have moved the mechanism a little when it was apart. Again I just sourced one from someone breaking one on here (approx 20 quid), made sure my sunroof was dead in the 'neutral / locked' position and fitted the new one - and it works perfectly again.

Agreed - an "off the shelf" solution is probably not going to be suitable for you.
