I had one for an enterprise class, server monitoring product we used to use at work pop up the other day - which was very random!

I just have the issue of parking a 3rd car whilst I sold my other Corrado - and I simply don't have anywhere to do so. That's all that's putting me off.

Pleased I've been round it a couple of times now.. at least if the worst happens I can say I went in better times!

Well I'm seriously interested I have to say.. need to think it through for a day or so. C5 OEM - would you be interested in another VR6 as a project? I'd sell it for way, way less than it cost me. Thinking in the order of like £1,500... cost me another £2000 on top only two years ago! :| The car is sound - interior is in great shape, needs a bit of body work... engine is a high miler but in good running order..

Could you honestly say whether there are any areas which need attention on the car, or is it basically all good? I'm about to sink £200 into my car on parts and I'm saving up for a 2-3k respray and starting to think what's the point when I could just buy this. I'm seriously interested as I think it would make better longer term financial sense.

It's the asshole investors who took over the ring and decided to turn it into a shopping centre, amusement park and hotel complex - which consequently no-one used / went to and they lost money hand over fist. Hopefully all that crap will get pulled down and the ring returned to what it always was with none of the guff attached to it!

But the guy is alive at the end - he crawls out of the crater! :(

Good news :) I noticed they sell the spoiler motor and mechanism now for not an extortionate amount of money (approx 160 euro).. always fancied a brand new one!

Even further for me! I drove up to visit Yandards earlier this year, who lives up near Elgin! That's 500 miles each way!! :) The roads made it totally worth it though.. as did having Supercharged with me to go halves on the fuel bill for the VR6 :D Seriously put the money away and do it one day. Once you get a bit north of Glasgow the traffic thins right out and the roads are awesome... it's so worth it.

Take a drive up past Glasgow mate.. the A82 that heads up to Fort William is incredible on a quiet day! I've been up there several times now in the last few months and every time I can't get over how awesome it is.

Do you happen to have a driver side seatbelt guide thingy? I think the one pictured is the passenger side one...

I don't intend to put a dampner on things but all I'd say is that the majority of people I've known with project Corrado G60's who've tried to break the 250BHP mark have ended up with a host of reliability problems and ended up generally disillusioned. JMC is an exception to that rule though! :) I'd say that taking the car from 160BHP up to something around 200-210BHP is a real sweet spot, reasonably easily achieved with proven modifications. Oh - and stay well away from cone filters. Regardless of what you do, stick to the standard airbox and paper filter if you want your charger to last! :) My old G60 had a Golf G60 intercooler (much, much bigger than the crap Corrado one), 68mm pulley and an SNS remap and consistently put out 207BHP at various rolling road days over the years. It was perfectly reliable and great fun :)

Ice Grey Violet has to be the best Corrado colour.. looks absolutely fabulous!

Glad the case is over and done with. Slightly alarming the police were using evidence of dubious origin to try and get you.. can you elaborate on that?
