ive found on a very cold morning the doors freeze closed and you have to pull hard on the handle.as you all no the handles can break easy so has anyone got any tips on something to put on the rubber seal

deff not that,i still think it might be that nut with the slits in it that sits inside the bearing on strut top.i will tighten it down a bit more at weekend or in week when i am off work

na dont think its a weight.its something to do with the shocker moving up and down

its the outside edge on mine,its had the same wheels and suspension for a few years but ive not noticed it rubbing before

i could do with a 4x4 to pull my caravan,went to the missis dads farm the other day and looked at a pajero thats been sitting there for 4 years.2.8 n plate swb just what i want.turns out a bloke wanted to store some cars there years ago and never came back for um.police check done and there not stolen.anyone got any ideas on best way to get it started,needs 2 batterys,windscreen and a tyre that i can see.i reckon if we can get hold of the owner he would take £100-200 for it.body looks clean for year

just got out of my car to see the rear tyre is shreading its tread,it must be rubbing on the wheel arch.could it be a bush

i done mine with dash in place,i wouldnt drink loads of beer when doing it tho.i felt like smashing the dash to bits trying to get it back together

it clicks even if i dont press the brakes so i dont think its that.its something to do with the suspension i think thats why i thought about the round nut with slits thats on the strut top.it started off with 1 click but is worse now.

hi my 1990 16v has got a click click sound from os front.its had wishbones,balljoints,cv joints,track rods and tie rods,strut tops,drop links.it seem to happen if i go over a little bump or when braking.i was wondering if the nut thing with the slits in wants doing up in the strut top mount.it seems to be getting worse,the new parts where fitted over 12 months ago now.any ideas

hi i am looking for the clip that holds the gear lever gaitor to the bottom of the gear knob.its not much but i like things right lol

the only way to stop rust is to cut it out or replace the panel.filler and paint only hides it for a while

if you buy a corrado make sure you have got some spare cash.old cars always need fixing

ive got to the age that ive bought a caravan,thing is the corrado wont tow it and i wouldnt use it if it would.i could do do with a cheap 4x4 anyone got any ideas.discos,shogun etc

they look good,i dont need all the pipes on engine tho,its the pipes on fuel filter and the one that runs to the front of car.i emailed vw classic parts and they can get the main feed pipe only.i am a bit lost now which is which
