I have used velcro for plates before, and it does the job just fine, though the obvious down side is that they are easily thefted!!

Thanks for that info bud. Thats what I really wanted to know as if the light is missing some pins i thought that would be the first thing to change. Though the units are hard to come by in good nick! Looks like mine is ok then...... thanks again :)

Can anyone help with this? Just need to know if slots 1 and 2 in the above pic should have pins in? Thanks

Received mine today too ta Matt. The quality of finish is great, better then expected :) As above the switch feels positive and the dimmer rheostat is miles better then my old worn switch. Many thanks :) -
I have been searching for the past hour for a possible answer though no joy. Anyway my abs light is not plugged in, when it is the light is on, the light unit is not in the best condition, though clearly does work. I have noticed however that there are 2 plugs (one white and a smaller red one) they both plug into the unit. Though the light unit (535 919 235 BA) only has pins for the white plug. There is no pins or 'gubbins' inside for the red two pin plug?! And previous posts do not mention this red plug. This seems like an obvious problem, so is the red plug for something my car does not have or has my light been butchered in its previous life? Thanks, and sorry to be a pain!

You stick to what you enjoy mate. Something with a little character, and boolax to what society thinks you should be driving.

I dont have any pics of mine before it was changed back im affraid, but there must be others out there. Has your grille been painted? Mine had, it was just too much paint, think you need a few black bits here and there to break up the colour. Also the spoiler does take a battering and a freshly painted one will soon look rough.

Mate my blackberry had a colour coded 90mm fitted when i brought it. Didnt look good in my opinion, a tad tacky, one of the first things i changed.

Did mine a few weeks back, as above, bumper off was the biggest ball ache, only 4 bolts onto the subframe but by god they where tight!! Think there where 2 x 10mm bolts inside the door shut, then plastic arch liner off which reveals several more, two more at the side where the bumper slides off, the obvious ones along the bonnet shut and the hidden one (under the crud and underguard) at the bottom along the cill. Not a difficult job, just depends on how compliant the bolts want to be!

Im guessing the Beeb have received some sort of 'reimbursement package' (paid off) to allow this to happen as their deal should have seen coverage through to 2018. Im sure allowing Sky to come in wouldnt have been in the original contract?

Brundles pit walks and saturdays qualifying are the highlights for me. Well thank god ESPN didnt get the rights, F1 with NASCAR commentary from Dirk 'crashtactic' Kerwanski & Larry Bushwacker, courtesy of McDonalds, Pepsi etc etc etc. (though the above may be slightly stereotypical?!)

Hi, we have had a lab from a puppy (now 3). We fed him a dry food diet (Purina). As said above dont over feed Labs, they never know when theyve had enough!! We also used a large cage, he slept in it from the first day he came home, treat it as his own space, leave the door open when possible for them to come and go, and never send them to it when disciplining them. Be prepared to have your home eaten, ours got through six oak chairs and a table, also likes roses (the ones with thorns of course!) Marley and Me has nothing on our Lab!! though dispite the times when they do test your patients, they are so worth it :)

Took both of mine off last weekend to have the sills resprayed. No trouble what so ever, held in place with about 5 strips of foam double sided tape. Getting the tape off of the sills needed a little more effort. The body shop would have to be a tad heavy handed and careless if they manage to snap them!

If you have paid through paypal and opened a dispute, without proof of postage this guy wont see a penny of your cash. You will get your money back 100%. I appreciate its not the point, but you should rest assured that you'll get refunded.

Sounds like a simple fix for some ice looking alloys, be intrested to see the results, will you stick a piccie up when sorted?

Thanks for that mate, i did pop the gator surround off, though could not see anything obvious. Like you say a good check and a bit of jizz here and there should help things! It is a bit like, 1st is too sloppy, and 5th is too close, how do you 'fine tune' the selector.

Hi people, after a little advice please, ive done a search on my problem though nothing definitive comes back. Having a trouble selecting 5th gear whilst on the move, if i'm not carefull with the 4th to 5th change it can easily go up into 3rd. 5th just does not have a positive feel. Seems fine whilst stationary. Anyway, could this be a problem at the stick end of the linkages on the gearbox, or even the box itself? Car is a 94 vr6 and any pointers would be really apprectiated, i have had a look but would rather not touch anything until I have a better understanding. Thanks muchly

And we're a modest bunch too!

I remember the same thing happening last year with a Mitubishi Evo 'Tuner', they took tens of thousands of pounds worth of parts from customers modified cars whilst the unaware owners were handing over their hard earned for work to be carried out!! :pale: One guy got his pride and joy back as a shell. The front some folks have!!
