Thanks for the above guys. I emailed the seller and they said, 'The wheels are the correct fitment for the hub, though i may need spacers to clear the calipers?' Also i noticed the advert stated that they will fit VW Mk3 golfs, would they be 57.1 ? thanks again

Good afternoon all, After reading and searching all i can find on wheel fitment could somebody give me a quick heads up on if these alloys will fit my raddo VR6? As im none the wiser......although i have a feeling they wont?!! :( http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 849wt_1173 thanks in advance.

I placed some padded tape (you could use masking tape) and found it wedges perfectly in between the slats of the standard grille.....tbh i think VW had this in mind when designing the rado  Here is my tarantinotastic attempt :( [youtube:1cbw6bnl]AT-FZ4d4yrk[/youtube:1cbw6bnl]

how would you do that? +1[/quote:16w7w4ad] Its in the useful link 'Jon_vr6' posted earlier, http://chucklohr.com/808/#Instructions Halfway down the page you'll find '2010 Feb 01 - #3 Camera, Focusing the Lens, f = 3.14 mm' ......... looks a little fiddly to me  and my recordalings dont seem any different to Toads

The 3m film is called 'Di-Noc' we use it everyday at work, not only on vehicles but also exhibition stands, there is an identical product made by APA that is half the cost. Tbh its not something that seems to have caught on in the VW scene, especally the retro cars, though i guess the two looks dont really suit, plus there is nowhere to really put it. (panels are hit and miss, unless its the roof) But it is very popular with the jap, bmw and superbike chaps. (interior and exterior) At the end of the day its achieving a look that there after at a fraction of the cost and is also reversable, its not for everyone though neither is doggin but people still do it!! :D

At the end of the day mate your Mk2 didnt leave the factory turbocharged, you made it that way, try equalling things out a little and stick a turbo on your Vr........ then see how unispired you still are!! :)

Thanks to 'NewbridgeJob'. Received steering wheel as promised, well packed and super quick delivery.....happy happy happy  Chris

Owww mate, dont loose the love!! Have a little trawl through the members gallery for some inspiration and keep the belief that you and your motor will get there.....you know its worth it
-
I'm with you on that, besides your not really gonna loose with that car, i think most people on here would love a chance to buy her if it ever comes up for sale again. Looks awsome btw, love em in red and the comps are beeeaauutiful :luvlove:

yes, i could imagine neither of the guys driving the fiestas would have been best pleased...thought one was going to get side swiped near the end! Dont know what it is about the back end of an escort cosworth bobbling around like that...just does it for me :camp:
-
Just came across this pretty insane footage of a pair of Cosworths going at it, they really dont wanna give it up, is Andy Gallacher the guy with the ridiculously :censored: quick carbon focus? Not sure if its been posted before, if so oh well it deserves another airing :D

Sounds like he had his eye on more then just the rado :camp: -
google it. It's Ford's attempt at taming torque steer. Renault claim to have invented it first though. just had a quick look, quite a simple idea, ford seem adamant on sticking with fwd, fair play on doing it too as it's all to easy to give in and use a awd system. It was fitted to the standard Rs too so not new to the 500 like I thought.

Apparently on top of the standard RS limited slip it has 'RevoKnuckle front suspension' ?! Anyone know what that revoknuckle is? Sounds like a 'porn move'!
-
Firstly i'd pay the man, all be it in 1's and 2p's, then i'd dress up just like this :camp: buy myself a Interceptor then go vigilan-tay on there ass!! A little extreme though, maybe

In Great oakley, its nearer Corby then kett really. I know Wakerley, used to ride the bike around 'wakerley woods' not so long ago. Hopefully i'll find a few useful bits, it seems with rado ownership you could almost do with a spare one of everything!!!
-
Cheers for that, its a vr6, grille badge is on its way to me......took ages to find one!!! Hopefully pic up some more bits at the spring Gti festival next month, anyone know what the shows are generally like for rado parts? Thanks again peeps for the positive comments
-
Cheers for the welcome guys :) Dukest, i belive the wheels are rs4 replicas.

Thanks bud, yes afraid its the shameless 'cant afford decent coilovers, so park it on a slope pic' !! And you know what photos are like, hide a multitude of sins, she has its fair share of unmintiness :D

Hello and how is everyone :) After a short time of Corrado ownership and becoming a forum member i thought i'd say hi and post some piccies of my motor. Its been great having some nice weather and being able to give the old girl a good clean, its really got me looking forward to this years coming show season  I've been into VWs since '99, (after a brief spell in an ax gt) and never been without one since. Though this is my first corrado, and i must say i'm smitten!! And talk about getting looks!! Anyway heres a few pics i took today, nothing you guys have not seen before mind. And no where near some of the motors i've seen on here in my short time ( herisites, kevhaywire and many more) Thanks for looking, Chris

Only 59 klm's on the clock, and already two owners!! That's gonna raise eyebrows?! :D
