Hey Everyone, So you may have noticed over the last month or so that the forum has been slow, sometimes unresponsive. I have been working to get this resolved, and as of today we are now hopefully running on some better software that should prevent the problems we had. I will write a technical write up of the problems we had and what i've done in a new post. Hopefully you will find the forum a lot quicker, and more responsive!. It should also become quicker after its been running for a few days so I have some data to work with to setup performance tweaks! Any problems please let me know here. Thanks Toby

If people are having issues with connectivity could they give me the following information to track the problem please: 1. Where you were on the forum - URL 2. What time (exactly) this happens, and for how long 3. Whilst it "lags" what other website do you have open to test the problem is not your internet. This should give me enough to work on, This forum has a lot of visitors, and tweaking it to be fast is a difficult task! Thanks

Yes you will do as they have all only just been added. Obviously they will go after the first time. Thats just the nature of "forums". Apologies for that!

The imports of the old classifieds should now be fixed too!

Cloudfare comes into play when it thinks the server is unreachable. We are having some network issues and I'm working with the hosting provider to solve it!

Interesting.. Andi can comment on this, I've not used Cloudfare before but they do seem to do some good caching on heavy sites!

If it is "planned" I would say that's a great idea... The migration should of been 5mins... However the newely built server started causing issues. But yes, I'll make sure we put at least a "time" so you all know when to expect it back up :)
