    g60

just bought a g60! drove it over 350 miles home! it drove perfect all the way! just thought i would let yall know!
  2. this is the reason ive been putting off buying another rado for a while. i have a terraced house so have to park on the street, its not really a bad area never had any problems before but there are some scrouts who live on my street - dont work, shouting and balling, they have even had a BBQ out on the pavement!! but ive been thinkin why should i not get the car i wont becasue of them and have been looking at different security items. alarm and imob steering lock/gearstick locks trackers tracker £350 to get it fitted, £135 annuall subscription, £350 subscription for as long as you own the car. cobra do one but its gps and accroding to tracker you can get gps scramblers of internet for £30-40 which then makes it useless if some robs the car, thrash's it round, wrecks it, leaves it smoking - tracker kicks in, police get your car back. do you really wont it back fookin wrecked condition? think id prefer not to get it back
  3. yeah that was me, you swapped your doors because you wonted doors with colour coded bump strips and handles. the red rado was a 1.8 16v with a blown head gasket, it was a bit of a nail tbh
  4. i work at the scrap yard in preston, it may be a joke that public aren't allowed in yes, but you got to see it from our side. i would of gladly let you in the yard, you may have to of been escorted by a member of staff but as long as the person wonting to go in wasnt a complete knob i would of sorted. also there masses of laws, rules, regulations which we have to adhear to by the EA, insurance policys, waste management licences etc. if you went climing up on some cars and it fell on you, you wont be doing it again! its not as clear cut as just saying, you not coming in. £5 minium charge is to stop people wasting our time wontin a nut or bolt, belive me i get asked for some rediculas stuff which if you got it new would be 20-30p for a motor factors. again as long as the customer wasnt being a knob it wasnt always a fiver. i like going getting my hands dirty as much as the next guy but there are people which prefer to come down, get the part and go without getting any tools out. Si.
  5. not got my rado yet, been lookin just not found her yet. would good to have some of these for when i do!
  6. your clock set sounds like it may be bust, not sure bout this "voltage regulator" but i would be havin a look if its got something to do with volts. distributer aka dizzy
  7. sounds like you have a bad earth somewhere and its draining the batterey. does the car just die when your driving it? when i had a 16V, it just started to die, ended up being the dizzy, had to get a new which was about £80. stuck it on and it was bang on again.
