i have a glass roof in mine but it was in when i got it. i cna check the part numbers on the glass to see if its the same one for you?

Me too, I'd love an RS200, awesome cars. Nearly right on the G's, it was two T reg ones and an S reg. The guy with the S reg has just signed up on the ClubG40 forum recently and a guy called Stuart has had one of the T reg ones for years. We still dont know where the other T reg one is. All sorts of rumours surrounded them including the Sultan of Brunei had them in his collection but never used them. IMO mileage is everything, i dont really care for it, as long as it runs/sounds good, not chuffing smoke out its good to go! my 1.8 16v had 0ver 130k, my G40 over 140k and my G60 has 199k on clocks! but it does have full history and a mass of reciptes, but i am planning on 2lt bottom end. which would be getting full rebuild before it goes in

this sounds poo! but unfortunatlly these are the risk we take when buying a used car. did you get a recipte off the guy "sold as seen", not sure if that would get you anywhere but i always sell my cars with this so that if this was to happen then they would have no come backs. for what your gonna spend on another engine and getting it fit you could prob buy another VR, but this is now your car and do you wont to keep this one? you've also got the option, as long as your blocks ok, of rebuilding yours with upgraded/performance parts/charge it? or the root of a conversion? 1.8 20v T bet you could pick up job lot for £1000 or less this is one of the main reasons i wnet for a G or the VR. at the end of the day a G is pretty much just a 1.8 8v engine which went into loads of VAG stuff. the choice is yours!!!

rs200!! :censored: i wont one! not sure about any unregistered rados, but i know there are 3 G40's two and R'reg and one on S'reg, which is pretty cool seen as they only went to L/M'reg. has anyone seen the barn find one? think i might have it somewhere?

i got brought up on fords, mainly granadas 2.8/2.9 v6 jobbers if i was to buy a cossie it would have to be a 3dr sierra! escort are still nice but sierra all the way! i know some one who has over 20K in his sapphire but you would never know to look at it, even after a look you would still struggle to see it.

i after changing my rear lights for some different ones. im looking for red on top and black on bottom, had a qiuck look on the web but could only really see lexus style ones. can i buy them like this or do i need standard ones them spray them?

i have the maxi cosi priory seat but as the pics shows it fits ok so no point me puttitn it in and takin pics, its still in the box not started using it yet as my boy is not quite big/old enough for it yet

what car seat do you have? if its the same as one of mine i will try it, take some pics and let you know how well it fits. if thats any help?

lil bit of topic but one thing that really pi##es me off! i dont go driving on the kerb so why walk infront of me while im driving in the road then give me beef when i almost hit you (cause i aint slowin down for you cause you shouldnt be in the road!) when there is a crossing 50 yards from you!

when ive have been i will let you know how the do things i.e. disclamiers, h&s ive got a few miles to go before the oil change but think it will bob down before that to have a butchers

imagine how many oil and filter changes you could do in an hour! just think its great for people like me who dont have a drive or garage, just a terraced house parked out on the street!

are they new seals or used ones? every single car which i have taken door seals off, and its a lot i worked in a scarp yard, i have never seen any sealent on any car. stick them on, if you find any traces of water get some silacone in there.

hopefully it should last!!! not took any pics yet, but it is the pearl green one with the porsche rims on from this "cars for sale" on here! a few minor things need fetling but all in all it looks great!
