    Front wings

I suspect this is wishful thinking. If you were able to get hold of the original tooling and assuming it is still serviceable maybe. The cost to manufacture new would be prohibitive to most small business esp given it's for a niche car.

    Front wings

I think the days of rust free late type wings have gone. Yes they are out there but they are either kept as spares for a 'what if' moment or are fitted to our cars. I have a pair (sorry not for sale) that I am currently rework small sections of rust by letting in fresh metal.
  3. sure. No problem. My car is a 92.
  4. Sure. Do you still have my address?
  5. I saw a dark blue / black one down by Green Park in Reading. Didn't get a chance to look at it properly. Only one i've seen in a long time.
  6. What colour was it? May have been me in my Silver G60...
  7. If you're Maidenhead-ish look out for my Silver G60 along the A4.....
  8. I've seen a number with rotten battery trays too. The worst rot can extend through the inner wing.
  9. Hi Chris...over to you as Dox looks like he wants to hang onto his.
  10. Dox, How much are you looking for the pair posted?
  11. My friend had his corrado broken into last night. Both handles and door skins have been badly damaged but the locks are intact. He's not a member so i'm looking on his behalf for a pair of late handles with the raised rib around the lock. We don't need the lock or key. Anything out there?
  12. It does look cool. Are you able to measure the thickness of the plastic and diameter of the hole when you have removed the what ever it is? It may be possible to fit a top hat shaped plug that will be flush with the surface if there is sufficient material to machine. I'll take a look at my box of bits at the weekend to see if I have anything suitable. Milling the hole is easy. If you are passing by again it'll take no more than 15 mins.
  13. - Agreed. Junk it and plug the hole. As much as the boost gauge looks nice it won't move much if you are going for a stock G60 install.
  14. - It's boxed up and ready to ship. I just need to get a quote if you still want it? I had Girling G60's fitted to my S2 and can't say I was impressed but the Avant was considerable heavier than the Corrado. I find the G54's lack the initial bite i am used to with modern brakes. I have a set of 996 mono's with 305mm discs but this kit needs a 16 inch rim and i think it's complete overkill for my needs. I really want to keep the original BBS wheels and do not want to run spacers; i guess i can't have my cake and eat it.
  15. Does anyone know if the Girling G60 twin pot caliper will fit under a stock BBS RZ 15 inch wheel without spacers? I'd also like to hear from anyone that's run a set. Are they an improvement over the Girling 54 single piston caliper?
  16. It's the small plastic block on the end of the actuator that has failed. Here's a photo of the one on my car for reference.
  17. I think it was priced at least £1K too cheap. Hope it doesn't end up on a dealer forecourt....
  18. I trimmed 15mm from the expansion tank pipe and it is now a much better fit on my car.
  19. The pad size and height is good just it's location in relation to the boost return pipe. Hopefully this pic makes my description a little clearer.
  20. Observations Laying Anna's reproduction hose over the top of the original shows the reporudction to be a good copy. The original hose has a smooth satin type finish whereas the repro is matt and dimpled. The raised section that prevents the hose wearing on the boost return pipe is slighlty smaller than the original and the expansion tank take off has a boss that circles around the hose. These are the only obvious differences. Form & Fit The fit of the hose from the rad to the outlet on the head is perfect. The expansion tank take off butts up neatly to the holder on the rad. There is plenty of clearnace over the boost return pipe. A minor observation is the pad that sits on the boost return pipe is not central when fitted to my car. I doubt there will be any issues over the life of the hose. The wall thickness is similar to the original allowing the original clips to be re-used. One slight issue (for me anyway) is the expansion hose is approx 43cm long whereas the original is 41cm. The extra 2 cm causes the hose to come into contact with the CO Pot (see pic). Performance None so far although i've only covered 10 miles to date. I'll provide a update when i've got a few miles on it.
  21. ...and i'm back on the road. New supercharger fitted over the weekend along with a new lambda and knock sensor. Was good to get back behind the wheel and to be on the road again for the summer.
  22. I have a scorpion stainless in the for sale section. I'm located just outside Reading.
