If you don't have a set of Irwin extractors I'd be inclined to grind the head of the bolts off to remove the existing back plate. Center punch the bolt ends then drill and tap. M6 is drill diameter 5.0mm but start with a 3mm pilot (or less if you have a steady hand). Taking care you should be able to run a M6 tap through to clear the remains pf each bolt. If all else fails drill oversize to M7.

They are in very good condition. I'll dig them out tomorrow and post a pic.

I have for sale a 65mm alloy pulley + GWerks 6 EPROM. Came from a G60 fitted with Stage 5 charger, RSR outlet, green injectors and exhaust. I know nothing more about the map than that. There is a small amount of corrosion on the inside of the pulley. Looking for £50 + P&P I also have a steel 68mm pulley and PSD (Pit Stop Developments) ST5 250cc EPROM that I will sell for the same amount.

Let me know. It's in good condition. Was keeping it as a spare (if you have one you'll never need it).

unfortunately it is. The filler neck is an integral part of the tank.

There is no way to change the metal ring that's swage'd onto the plastic pipe on it's own. It's an integral part of the tank.

I've seen the Flux Capacitor Enfield 8000. Not looking to do a conversion quite that mad!

I've seen a lot of different engine conversions from 1.8T, R32's through to V8's but has anyone done a EV conversion? I rarely drive my G60 outside a 30 mile range of my house so it's peaked my interest.

Sorry about the delay, I fitted the bottom hose today. I've taken a pic of the 2 hoses side by side. Anna's is the hose on the right. My VW original is the one on the left. They look nigh on identical to each other bar the protective cover of the gen VW hose is a little longer. When fitted this makes no difference. Anna's hose has an identical wall thickness and was fitted with the genunie VW clips. Alignment is once again perfect. Unless you knew otherwise you'd never guess this is not OEM. I've run it up to temp but not covered any miles. I'll report back when I have. That said the top hose Anna supplied has been on for coming up to 1000 miles and has performed flawlessly. Once again highly recommended.

Having removed my original and placed the 2 Breather pipes side by side there are a few very minor differences to note (Anna's breather is the one on the left with the part number written on it). Anna's hose is slightly wider and appears to have a slightly thicker side wall to the original. This was difficult for me to verify as my hose had gone soft and sticky on the inside where the rubber had started to break down due to age. The replacement hose is a sung fit under the cut out in the crank case breather and a nice tight fit onto the boost return pipe. All in all another superb piece of kit from Anna!

You really should test both micro-switches with a multi-meter. An audible click does not necessarily mean the switch is working.

Hi Anna, I fitted the breather pipe on Sunday. I'll have time tomorrow to tackle the bottom hose.

Some old ones too....my S4 uses quite a bit of oil between services.

It would be a serious amount of fab work to 'drop' the running gear from a V8 audi into a corrado. If you are anywhere near to Reading you're welcome to come over with a tape measure; I have a V8 S4 and G60.

Are you any good at metal fab / welding and how much time do you have spare?

Hoses arrived in the post today. Hopefully it will stop raining long enough for me to fit, take photos and write up a quick report!
