Hi Mate The 1st thing to check is the battery- how old is it? How many volts is it showing whilst not being used and how many during cranking?

Cheeky get ! Not washed either of them all year

Well Mine had a non return valve -probably non original but either way it was 'non returning' in both directions. --All is now good!!

Tried to clear the front screen today but water did not emerge yet the pump was running. The fluid was only making it so far along the tubes. When I tried the rear that too was not working but I did get water emerging from the plastic hatch trim panel. I discovered the plastic pipe which goes through the rear wiper is broken--- but would this account for the fronts not working? when the pump runs how does it know where to send the water? I am assuming that if the rear pipe is 'open ' then there will be insufficient pressure to wash the fronts!!! Darren

Wish I'd bought more of those Revell Corrado's...

It is bizarre that prices for full sized C's are dropping like stones yet the interest in these great cars is so great that the prices of models is spiralling upwards. Sent from iPhone 4 using Tapatalk -
Sounds like a faulty flasher unit. First thing to do is clean up the contacts. Sent from iPhone 4 using Tapatalk

ABS Light stuck on... What are the possible causes?

Hopefully a faulty sensor. I think you will need Vagcom to tell you which one though. Sent from iPhone 4 using Tapatalk -

Cheers guys. TBH if my valver was just a run of the mill example then the decision would be obvious. The uprated head in the valver also narrows the performance gap. The comment about the front end only pushing on in a VR when you push it is true- However I do enjoy driving around corners !! The colour question is one that I had not really considered. TBH I do prefer the colour of the VR. Storm grey metallic is very similar to an E34 BMW that I had for 10 years as a daily(sad) it was Granite Silver. Putting the leather in the valver would be very easy. But would it be wrong to put that early mint cloth in a VR??? Or should I source late cloth? PITA. Sent from iPhone 4 using Tapatalk

Let me know if you do sell the early cloth..I had those seats stored for a long time before cazza bought them. As for your decision I'm in the same boat chap, don't need to sell either but being sensible I should sell one or the other.trouble is I love my valver too much to let it go and equally enjoy the vr.. Ok Mate What would be the going rate to buy a late interior to put in the VR and also what could I sell the early interior for-----? I don't really 'need ' to sell one as I do have a double length garage- but all by tools etc are at the back and moving both cars to get at stuff is wearing a bit thin now. Yes one relly does need to go

To do that I would need to buy a G60 first and then decide :epicfail: so that will NOT happen

Thanks for the comments guys. The C is a weekend car. I have my van for work and the 'family' car is a Saab 93 turbo. I like a weekend car to look good, handle well and Make me smile. To get the VR to handle as well as my valver would need a lot of money thrown it. Springs, shocks, bushes etc etc plus the weight up front will still be there. I love the straight line acceleration of the VR but the valver is better through the bends as it is. Putting the leather in the valver would finish it off but I would then need late cloth to put in the VR and would sell the early cloth which is in really good nick. ????????? yes that's right

As some of you may know I bought CazzaVR's stunning valver last summer. Late last year I bought a great VR. One has to go. But which one? The valver is pretty much mint  It is more balanced than the VR , It is a smoother ride and handles better. It has about 150-155 BHP so not as quick in a straight line. So many parts have been replaced- bushes, trim, It needs nothing going to it at all The VR is quicker in a straight line, has great black leather and also aircon. The exhaust is a bit too noisy and I would have to have a 2nd silencer added if I keep it. I love them both for different reasons but can't justify keeping both. I could put the leather from the VR into the valver and that would be the icing on the cake--- :D but that would make the VR harder to sell. I know it is a nice problem to have but I really don't know what to do. The wife says put them both up for sale and which ever one goes first is fine-- :nono: But I would rather decide

I with you mate. The Alfa is very stylish and the 3l lump not only sings but it looks so pretty in the engine bay. It was on my list of possibles when I bought CazzaVR's valver. But the rear is too small for my needs. Sent from iPhone 4 using Tapatalk

Cazza's Storm- Gone :( ...S3 Has Arrived! :)
v8rumbler replied to CazzaVR's topic in Members Gallery
Well 3 out of 4 isn't too bad Mate! I have spent days on car's where the one easy job involves doing 3 tricky one's where a single bolt can completely ruin a whole weekend. I am sure you are moving in the right direction if your previous valver is any indication. D Sent from iPhone 4 using Tapatalk
