aye the light wasnt too much an issue, the sounder goees off to, just like the oil pressure buzzer, and i can only persume they use the same sounder. now i could blank the led, piece of.... but if i cutt he sounder, im risking not knowing about the oil pressure. basically the light constantly flashes whilst when you start it or apply the handbrake, the sounder... sounds... i spose i could just get rid of the led and the sounder, but i was hoping there was gonna be a way to trick the circuit to thinking the immobiliser circuit was complete and that i wasnt tryin to steal the damn car :lol:

yeah, you left the passenger one intact and the switch for the passenger side int he drivers card too, just the actul dirvers side switch excluding surround etc :lol:

i didnt have any major problems with mine, just felt it was gettin a bit sloppy. got them all adjusted and any worn bits replaced and yeah blimey!! click - click gear changes!! Brilliant. according to a VW mechanic mate, it takes some doing gettin it just perfect tho.

take a look at the mileage, then think what im thinking.. you'll get the idea :roll: im not blasting you for using your car. im not bothered if you couldnt get it in. all im syaing is you shouldnt of said you could get it in to get it made if it wasnt the case. at 9 pages long, im surprised i havent gave up on the thread. well i pretty much have, but at least i still read it. if this has to be done properly, this has to be locked and a fresh new thread be started.

i think with that,t he engine wouldnt of been able to start because he didnt have the clocks to complete the circuit. might be worth a go tho...

:lol: just saw this!!! good job i dont think the missus uses this forum, but you never know, but we'll keep this story hush just incase!!! :wink: its not my fault the corrado is soo irresistable. no back seats and still want a ride!!!! :lol: i've completely lost for the amount of times similar stories tot hesse have happened to me. had it from driving to work in it as an apprentice, driving through town and hearing things. i barely notice now unless someone does come up to me and say something! :lol:, and thats still quite common. the kids in the neighbourhood can never take there eyes of it, imagine the stares when my mate rossco comes round!! :lol: its more so my passengers that notice the comments, looks and necks snapping now :lol:

well, this thread Died because you kept saying the same thing about gettin your car in, and nuthin ever came of it. it appears more peole got bored and stopped caring unfortunatly. i think they'd be more likely to make a generic box for an 13"/11" focal (there dealers and smaller subs can be fitted and hidden under the grille!) in a sealed fashion. that to me would be the most obvious choice for them to appeal to a greater market. i cant see them making toonnes of different ones, or they might as well just keep making one off stuff!

well yteah, JBS would of used the whole loom to the clocks. mk4 clocks have the immobiliser circuit in them and 2 wiring sockets ont he back, both of different fit to the corrado. even if you get that workin, the immobiliser will be damnt annoying. and if you find a way around that. let me know! :lol::lol::lol:

it'd probably have to be V6 gauges you'll use, but i cant see them fittin up very nice as they'll be the wrong size and shape, and i dunno if J will be too keen answering your Q's cause he didnt answer me :cry:
