    Rear Speakers

you mean the black rubber cup thing, think that's just a tamper/ dirt seal. dont worry your rear axle won't fall off
  6. because a 100% true elevation drawing has to be measured perpendicular at every point, a centered perspective cannot provide the longest point measured at the curve of the bumpers for instance, depends how exact you want to be, also, how are you going to establish a scale from a photo? as an aside, what's your signature statement about
  7. /\ + the membrane ruptures with age, which lessens its performance somewhat :)
  8. L O V E L Y :luvlove: i have an alfa itch i'm going to have to scratch someday, by and large they all ooooze style.
  9. welcome along john, sweet looking wheels 8)
  10. that flap allows warm air to be ducted from an exhaust shield during warm up. i'm with you. drilled airbox sounds great for a reason, its letting induction impulses escape rather than reflecting them back into the system to assist cylinder charging. i think our resident meteorologist craigowl made the point that 40-50cm above a tarmac road is usually the warmest air layer, so worth conidering what height that 'cold' air duct is placed! :)
  11. welcome to the club :) looks like a solid if a little dirty base to work from, bit like mine! liking the preparation sticker
  12. crikey, they've gone up, used to be £130 ish.
  13. oil supply perhaps, as I understand it lifters need a certain amount of oil before they begin to 'float' maybe supply only becomes sufficient for a busted lifter once over certain revs.
  14. my 4 branch was noisier than normal, but nothing like that my man, more of an echo'y metal rattle. i'd guess lifter from that vid.
  15. do you still have the fuel filler, is it rusty? if not fancy cutting it out and selling :) ?
  16. its a nice colour in the metal, worth checking out.
  17. good to see this get rescued, looks like you've got lupo wipers, they'd be ones that actually clear the windscreen :)
  18. paint and wheels looks pretty damn good on the pics 8) nice touch on the rear plate surround, is that CF wrap?
  19. heard this sort of thing before, doubt it will happen though, modified cars support a huge market for products and services which no government would like to lose tax revenues from.
  20. another one here, pay about £340pa in east belfast. be good to see another vr about.
  21. brilliant progress fella, pictures say more than a thousand words in those cases, very jealous of having all that space to work in too!
