I had an 8v a couple of years back and im sure there was 2 versions of the 8v fitted throughout the 8v production there was the 2E engine (early design) and the ADY (later design) and they may have had updated parts. Search ADY and 2E on images find out wich 8v you have

Now then hag very kind of you mate i do only need just 1 as I've had them all refurbished and 1 of them has an electrical fault. How much do you want for them matey?

Thanks shaun i have had my injectors refurbished by injectortune there coming back tomorrow th guy had told me that one of the injectors has an electrical fault and won't go back to its original 210cc its stuck at squirting 250cc so he's recommended i either get a new injector or buy a second hand one and have him refurb it. I need a replacement injector for the corrado and i can only seem to find a injector for the mk3 2.8 golf do the 2.8 and 2.9 vr6 use the same injectors? Apparently the injectors in the 2.9 should run at 210cc, Thanks in advance.

Hi guys im currently doing at top end rebuild on my vr6 I've got the rocker cover and upper intake manifold off and have taken fuel rail and injectors out (injectors are going away for a clean and service) and im stuck with the lower manifold, it looks as if it will not come off without taking the alternater or auxiliary belt tensior off? The last bolt holding it on is more or less directly behind the alternator. Can it be got at somehow? Thanks in advance.

Now then everyone , im after replacing my pcv valve on my vr6, the only new part i can seem to find is for the mk3 golf vr6, will this be ok fitted to the 2.9 vr6? Just thinking it could confuse the ecu being sold as for the golf vr6

Thats the website i got mine from mate, there's a link on that website somewhere for custom made covers then basically you select vw corrado obviously and hit the order link. Think mine took about 3 days to be delivered it also states the cover is guaranteed never to go moldy and true to there word mine hasn't.

My stormforce cover has been brilliant so far about 4 months old. Oh and by the way kempy a lot of companies recommend you don't put a cover on a car that has recently been resprayed, apparently your supposed to give it a few months to let the paint 100% bond to the bodywork

Cheers for that jim, will replacing it with a oil catch tank not stop the ventilation to the crankcase though? or can a breather somehow be fitted to the crankcase

Hello everyone after finally fitting my new heater matrix and putting the dashboard back in i am now onto my next job. Ive noticed when i start the car the rev counter jumps to about 3000rpm and at idle (even when warm) the rev dial is slightly going up and down slightly and i can here the engine "hunting" think thats the wright word. So under the bonnet i noticed a split pipe that goes from the airfilter pipe to the rocker cover the pipe had oil in it. I've tried using the search on the forum but no joy is the pipe i describe the isv or the pcv or neither? Help needed and where can i get a new one. As always any help very much appreciated. No it was his daily for going to work. Its got decent service history and he's given me a few bits n bats for it. Just think he let it go downhill towards his end of ownership of the car sadly. I bought it purely on colour combination mulberry with full cream leather including half black half cream leather steering wheel. He used to own a red 16v before owning the mulberry

Ye its got some awful aftermarket wheels on but he also included the original speedlines with the car and there in decent condition. Ive got the heater matrix to fit (dashboard is out ready) new wing to fit, bit of spraying needs doing, spoiler wants greasing up. Gunna rebuild the head and new gaskets and oil seals. Also need the small rubber pipe that fits onto the airfilter think its called a psv or something the pipe goes from airfilter to the cylinder head.

Ye couldn't wait to drive it home. Unfortunately the heater matrix leaked all the coolant into the footwells so ive ordered a new one, it wants a new wing which I've bought off a forum member. Runs perfect engine still has loads of grunt. So where abouts in Wigan are you mate?
