We use Mostly GS&F for citroen/peugeot bits there service is excellent, parts are generally good but i did order a fuel pump for a golf carb which fell apart in my hands. With Euro the parts are good but the service is crap (east london branch) they either deliver late or deliver the wrong part or both.

Its going to be a gamble......on one side a good reconditioned engine may give the car a new leash of life and give you peace of mind, or on the other it could be rebuilt using cheap parts and there is a chance that things may not be replaced properly which could be headache in the long run. you have to make that choice!

clifford concept 300 dont have dual proximity as far as i know. Once it is fitted, can you tell me how the interior lights work with the alarm, on my old peugeot they used to turn on when you disarm and off on ignition, also the doors dont autolock i've been told it dont work with VW's can someone confirm this?

i got as someone was selling one, so ceased the opportunity! I havent really tried it to its potential yet as my car is standard. The only mods i needed to do were grind abit of the lip surrounding the gearstick as a pin has to come out, i think there is a way of getting the mechanism out from under the car if you need to. I think they are a little expensive (retail) for what it is....but thats always the case with corrado's!

German swedish and french sell quantum oil

I saw this Corrado in Max power live i was glad to see a corrado in there but when i saw the front i wish i hadn't seen it  I would've thought Bora lights may look better than mk4 lights if any other lights at all. Like the idea of the oversized rear spoiler though, was thinking about a similar job for my own one. If you look at the guys other auctions you will see he is well his mechano sets, but sorry mate that stuff dont work on these cars!
-
Yeah i would recommend it....but should be more useful when i recon my charger and get a few goodies off SNS. Took me about an hour to fit, if you got a mate with another corrado tell him to pop down as you will need to see how it goes back together....the instructions are useless!
-
sideskirts it is!
-
yeah.....lucky i had my other corrado there so i coul see how it fitted back together. By the way i had to grind away abit of the metal surrounding the gearlever, had a belt sander to hand though :D

Check the distributor cap and rotor arm, mine was mashed from the inside and i though it was the ISV making the car jerk. the problem seemed to get worse in rainy weather.

I was going to park my car up in a car park there were quite a few spaces left in there but i wanted to park further down abit there was a woman stopped in the middle and waiting for something, so i moved to the left and stopped waiting for her to pass. All of a sudden a sierra somes reversing out towards me so my beep my horn and he still dont stop and CRUNCH! my Corrado was hit thinking the worse went out to see the damage and to my suprise the damage was quite minimal. The guy was an old pensioner fealt kinda sorry for him as he was shocked but i got his details etc. So far my door has been busted and now my wheelarch has been hit i think i might go for a respray in the near future. Would this kind of accident affect my premium at all or my no claims?

"Why would you move the fusebox" because behind the fusebox are wires which can be used Dont worry guys i got it sorted! running a cable from the front along with the big power cable for the sub amp. You guys will see it when its ready....watch this space!
-
no what i meant was i wanted an ignition controlled feed to turn on the remote switching for the amps, VW do a speed controlled output but not a ignition fed output! MY car doesnt have the pull the key out stereo turn off function....damn! Guys i have been installing systems for years and i know what im doing with the wires, its just that i dont have a wiring diagram for this car, and i hate moving the fusebox!
-
fitting an amp but the stereo is permenantly on

What do the bonrath top mounts do, how much are they and where can you get em from?
-
Not much help im afraid, but i've been told not to use saddle soap its far too harsh for the car leather i'd go for autoglym leather cleaner
-
:? Explain please? I bought and used Autoglym leather food, i have to say it is excellent and it was easier to apply/remove than the hide food although the smell is a little nasty!
